Now Its official..Back to Old School!

Antique plates are awesome. I got one for my 360, now it doesn't need state inspection at all, no less emissions inspection. And here in PA the registration is good forever, you don't have to renew each year. It was a happy day when I put this on! -

That's nice. I want one of those rust free washington Subaru's too. You guys out there don't realize how lucky you are. Nothing like that exists around here. -

I'll probably go to carlisle, it's not too far from me. I have the 360 looking halfway decent now, it's all one color and no more rust. It's not a show car but whatever. -

They seem really solid. I pull cars up onto my trailer by them and also use them to tie the cars down. I think they would hold up to pulling a car out of mud. -

I wonder if you could get some of those sleeve gaskets things made up in copper by one of the places that make race copper head gaskets? -
You need to cut it off on the side with the nut (not the side with the spring) Cut right through the nut flush with the flange. If you cut it in the middle the end with the nut will stay attached, it doesn't pull through, there is a step in the bolt. When I get them like that, I try to snap it off first, before I break out the sawzall.

I have an extra 360 sedan sitting around. I thought of putting an electric motor in it. Somebody has already done a 360 van and it came out good. But the sedan is so small, nowhere for the batteries. Maybe someday there will be tiny lightweight batteries.
