Has Anyone Ordered From 2kRacing.com Before?
I did, only got the automated menu, no live person. They're in S. Cal. Who knows what's going on with "non-essential" businesses these days, or if a car parts place is considered one? I guess I can buy the front set from one place and the rear set from another. As long as the part #s are right. Not a priority right now.

Has Anyone Ordered From 2kRacing.com Before?
I don't blame you, I'm the same way. I'm trying to source shocks and struts for my '86. There is no place online anyone can suggest that I haven't been to and looked at. I already know the part numbers but nowhere but 2kracing has front and back sets all in one place. So the their web page says. Rockauto has one set but not front and rear both. Trust me, I've been all over the internet. I know who has what and for how much$$.

Tips to Separate 85-86 EA82 Bumper & Bumper Skin
I removed the front bumper skin myself from my 86 GL wagon. I didn't know there was a trick to it and I'm not mechanical when it comes to cars. It just popped off at each end and the new one popped on.

Rear wheel brake cylinders
Don't know your model but take a look here. I entered 1987 4WD GL 1.8L H4 SOHC for the search. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/subaru,1987,gl,1.8l+h4+sohc,1268478,brake+&+wheel+hub

If you buy a canvas one you can spray it with Scotchguard to make it waterproof.

Long winded post about insurance and our old cars
I have comprehensive on my '86 wagon but I know that the adjusters would have no clue how to value it. You're right in that the KBB doesn't list cars that old, only NADA does and thankfully they are generous with their valuations. I wouldn't let my ins. co. get away with lowballing it below NADA value. I want people to know , those who value their Subes, and keep them in good condition, that comprehensive insurance is worth the money spent. Also, keeping the car looking looking spiffy will help should you ever need to have an adjuster look at it. Perception is everything. On the flip side, drastically altering the car, cutting, welding, lifting it 4', etc. will destroy any value it might have otherwise had. You can have an old Sube that's an investment for the future (possibly) or you can have a disposable toy.

1992 Loyale Tape AUX input mod
My '86 is so loud and rattle-y that trying to listen to music in it is an exercise in futility. I wish I had the money to soundproof the floorboards and doors. Not that they would be totally soundproof but that would cut down a substantial amount of noise.

R I P Lil Red - got rear ended Tuesday
I have full coverage ins. on my Sube., bundled with my other car and homeowner's ins. Not that the ins. co. will know how to figure out the value. But it is stock and there must be a way to determine value on vintage collectible cars somehow. I'd like to keep the Sube intact for selling purpose when I eventually have to give up driving.

I hope you end up getting some financial compensation. And I hope the h & r driver gets some severe consequences.

How Many Members of USMB?
Thank you guys for chiming in. I like the USMB and prefer its purpose over Facebook. Not that I don't use FB but that's a social platform, as far as I'm concerned. The USMB is a learning place, with great resources and knowledgeable people. I was just curious as to how many sign-on member there were here, not necessarily active members.

Car Alarms For Old Subes?
I said "most". I see you're speaking from an Australian point of view, and I don't know ~any~ female in the U.S. who drives a manual shift. Not that I know thousands of females but I know a considerable amount. Other than vintage car fanciers most females, even males, under the age of 45 have never encountered a manual shift.

I prefer a manual shift as well.
