  1. is that actually an RX? looks awesome! I like the clean one that still has the body kit on it, now photoshop some mud on it!!!
  2. lol, I had no idea, Thank you too!!! and yes, they are gorgeous! and the curb damage looks way better in person than in those pictures, I probably won't even try to repair them, since they'll spend much of their existence coated with mud anyway!!
  3. 195/60/R15s, they fit on an unlifted subie without cutting, but are still significantly bigger than what's on there now. as for the garage day, I'm not sure yet, I want to, but even if I do, it looks like I'll be taking a greyhound down. in which case, probably not
  4. I'm so freakin excited, I wish I had a subaru here to put them on so I did the next best thing, I took them out of the bags and took pictures of them neatly stacked in the shed! Yep, 15"ers 4 with paint and tires, and one full size spare. Thanks of course to all who got them here! baccaruda northwet snowstormer (nice to meet you, nice wagon!) and mcbrat (I think held them for a while) they've had quite a journey, but finally, I have pugs!!!

  6. that's McBrat's, it didn't sell, great car, and yes, he has an (almost) complete set of decals for it, and I know he does some decal cutting, he may be able to reproduce the one for yours.
  7. electronic control system.....my understanding is that it's the predacessor to a check engine light, though mine is throughing bogus codes at me, so I'm up for new suggestions.....what are these wires to connect you speak of?
  8. agreed, my Y is only attached one one side, and there's less than a foot of pipe left after the remains of the cat (which is completely rotted out), and it's almost as loud as my friend's custom straight-piped 460 lincoln
  9. holy crap, looks like godzilla sat on it! we're so glad you're ok!
  10. That's awesome!! looks great, and I bet it's fast as hell!
  11. sounds like just what you're looking for, for now anyway! Rip it up!!!
  12. I've never even seen one!
  13. XT6 more rare than the RX??? um......NO, well, not out here anyway
  14. Looks great Les! I'm still kicking myself for not buying it before you realized how fixable it was Like I said before, I think you made the right choice!
  15. HOLD ON, What??? btw, the RX looks awesome!
  16. I vote RX, or XT Turbo (easier to find, and probably easier/cheaper to mod than the XT6)
  17. I sent him a pm about holding my wheels, and he got back pretty quick, if nothing else, try that
  18. looks like there is going to be a MNSubie club garage day in maple grove on sunday the 30th, around noon, if you guys are still going to be in town
  19. sorry, yes I'm here, haven't been checking this thread, oops. yea, i'm in duluth, and without a car, so I'm unable to meet you somewhere, but if you'd like to stop by, that'd be AWESOME!!!!!
  20. In theory, yes, but, unfortunately, the Joints in the drivetrain can't take much more flex than they get stock. I think it would be VERY cool, to set up something that mounted the rear subframe on leaf springs. That plan has alot of flaws too, I know, but if there was a way to do it, to keep them somewhat independant, but then let the whole assembly, diff and all, pivot in really tricky situations would be WAY cool!
  21. hmmm....looks like I may have to come down that weekend , i really want to see that wagon!
  22. noooo, I'm doing flames!!!! grrr....oh well, mine will be cooler anyway, I hope
  23. huh, 2 of the 3 are black. nice!
  24. Great! I'd replace the axle too, as the process of stipping the splines on the hub probably didn't fare well with the splines on the axle, go get a new one, and keep the old for a spare, or take to NAPA (or similar place) and turn it in for a deposit on a lifetime-warrantied remanufactured one.
  25. I too have had water up over the hood, but went to fast, and the stock "cold air intake" sucked muddy water up into the carb, so I took it off, if you've got a carbed EA82 you could do the same, but I'm not sure what to do with the airbox on an FI model I attached a snap of my "modified" intake
