those were indeed pugs from a late 80's 505 turbo sedan i came across a few years ago. dupli color wheel paint is some good stuff, ive beat the hell out of those wheels on that car and there are few to no scratches in the paint. they now are living on my brat until i go about doing a 5 lug swap on it. if i get my rx back, they might once again live on that.

Just bought a 2.5rs coupe. WHat can i do with it?
its all bolt on for the coupe. i have a friend here that has a stock wrx 2.0l engine with the sti 6 speed trans and it is faster than most cars ive been in. doing it like that will be about half the price as a full sti swap. just make sure to get the entire wiring harness from the donor car as well as the ecu and engine x-member. the only fabrication ,if i remember corectly, is the exhaust afterthe down pipe as the wrx exhaust doesnt exactly line up. i am actually running a home made 3" exhaust that came off of a wrx wagon a few years back. with borla headers and stock cats, the car looses a little bit on the low end but on the highway is much better than most other cat backs ive used. the best exhaust size from what ive read and heard is 2.25" pipes and a good quality "sporty" muffler.

when you find your brat, make sure to check under the carpets in the cab corners, front and rear. also, take a close look at the rockers and where the frame merges into the body from the engine bay. we should get together some time once i get my brat back on the road, i am planning to come down some time this summer to see my dad and then head to the mountains to see the rest of my family. i am seeing a fun road trip:banana:

The SECRET to cleaning subaru aluminum rims??
i like my fix, gloss black high temp duplicolor paint. looks really nice with the 205/60/13 race tires i have on em. ill get pics as soon as i get batteries for my camera. but if you want to polish the aluminum, first, make sure they arent clear coated, then degrease well. for the polishing part, id reccomend the norton brand sanding pads, basically foam backed sand paper. the 320 grit works great to shine up metal, then move on to mothers mag aluminum polish and finish with their billet polish. you might also want to use various grades of steel wool to polish if its oxidized or needs some heavy duty cleaning up.

Repair or part-out mint 93 Legacy??
good luck either way you go, i personally hope you get it back on the road.i hate to see a good car put down in the prime of its life, but if it has to go that way, there is no reason that the parts shouldnt live on somehow,.

5 lug swap using EJ parts, need to confirm axle usage
i thought that on the ea82 cars all you have to swap are the hubs, not the axles.
