thats very close to what i want, i am going to make a variation of that, kinda like the actual rally cars have, with two lights down low and four above the bumper, kinda forms an arch of light when you look at it head on, suoer bright. the only problem i could see with that is killing hte alternator. looks like i gotta find a high output gm unit and a deep cycle battery.

sorry it took me so long to respond to that question. first thing is first, i gotta save lots of $$$$. im getting a full port and polish, multi angle valve job, delta cams, custom forged pistons, forged rods, lightend and ballance the rotating assembly, upgraded vavle springs, stainless vavles, o-ringed cylenders, spyder manifold, xt-6 throttle body, larger turbo, pair of audi tt corner mount intercoolers, custom header, mega squirt and edis, better fuel delivery, going to look into getting the holes for the head bolts enlargened to accept slightly larger head studs, aluminum oil pan, hopefully a three core radiator, new motor and tranny mounts, hopefully, better suspension, and some other stuff i cant quite remember at the moment..... theoretically, should about triple the output running 15-20 psi, well according to those that ive talked to about the planned mods. either way, i have the feeling im going to break stuff. oh yeah, also, custom aluminum drive shaft with heavy duty u-joints, lightened fly wheel, and lightened crank pully. thats what i was thinking of earlier.

RX Springs > XT springs

got em at the yard i go to, its the only way i was able to find a few parts needed to finish my rx the first time around. -
i sell that stuff at every chance i get, i love it, and swear by it. it works, just read the directions and follow them closely. and i dont reccomend using mor ethn one car per 3000 miles. its sensor safe but too much of a good thing can be bad.

nice rx, and what a cute puppy. here is a pic of my headache, i love him soo much. beagle/st.bernard. i have no idea how it happened, but he is a total spaz. about 3/4 the size of the st.b and all the energy and curiosity of the beagle. granted, he is afraid of anything new and anything that moves. kinda comes from the rednecks that abused the litter, bet we resqued him:banana: and that shortness in the back ground would be my mother. -
you and your death beams.

i am thinking of trying to make a rally style light bar for the front, something that can be remooved in a few minutes for servicing or put on quickly for spur of the moment rally runs down back roads.

i like my 2.5" turbo back exhaust, i just gotta get an o2 sensor bung welded to it and maybe a divorced wastegate plumbed in. hmmmm. now i just need to get the money together to get a custom header made for the rx, i really dont like the twe esign, i dont like equal length headers. -
in rheory, one could make huge power with an ea82t, it will just be very expinsive. i have my first engine ripped apart at a machine shop, it will be vvery pricey and take a while to get finished, but should make insane power when i get it done.

you can get an ecutek for it and have it tuned to run on regular or mid grade if you dont want to pay the extra$ for premium. but then again, that isnt cheap either. no matter what you do, it might be abit pricey on gas. but youll forget all about that once you get behind the wheel. its so fun to run around in a turbo suby.
-
just hope they dont total it, and if they try to, refuse it and make his insurance pay for every penny of the repairs.

no, thank you for serving our country and putting you rump roast on the line. ive got so much respect for you all in the service. i know its not the thing for me, but its good to know there are people out there serving. and what makes it even better is that you are into subies:drunk: if you dont mind my asking, what kind of injury did you suffer?
-
sounds like it will be cool when done, sorry i cant offer any advice on the swap though. good luck, and keep at it. and post lots of pics of your progress.

that stuff take like thirty minutes per car, even less if you use air tools. even less with an actual lift. im pretty sure i have tomarow off, want a hand with that stuffs, i wouldnt mind seeing the buggy finally, maybe we could figure out some stuffs for the rx as well... give me a call this afternoon, we can hammer things out and see whats going down.

Fancy new intake installed on the buggy!

"ok kids, theres now three ways to do things, the right way, the wrong way and my way!" "isnt that just thw wrong way?" "yes, but only faster!" just reminded me of a homer quote. -
i see no rx, not yet anyway.

yup, the coal mine caught fire in the 60's when someone was burning trash in an unused open pit mine. turns out that it still had coal in it and they didnt completely seal off the mine entrances. and yes, there is steam rising from the ground where its still cooking. and the whole place smells like misquite smoked with a chaser of sulfur, or maybe its the other way around... that place was freaking sweet though, and my car smelled like a bbq for like two months:drunk: .... on that note, i want to try to set up a suby meet there some time. it would be freaking awsome and we could have fun and go offroading.

cant say that ive been in mess that deep, but have rocked through mud and streams. ive had the impreza covered top to bottom in thick mud, havent got the chance to try it in the rx yet though. come to think of it though, i have been close with the impreza, i was coming home from stpr last year and stopped by a ghost town called centralia in pa. i took the rs around some trails that used to be neighborhood streets that were over grown and rutted, some were flooded. but nothing like the stuff you guys have done.
