  1. #1 is for your cruise control, from the look of it anyways, i cant quite remember cause mine got yanked out when i was building the car.
  2. kinda like the solar powered clothes drier. sold on ebay for like $500, two nails and 10' of rope. sad to know america is full of idiots isnt it.
  3. i wonder how hard it would be to make that into a sedan instead of a truck, maybe move the seats back give it a lwer stance and make it a little more balanced. hmmm, tiny rally car.
  4. thats sweet, now why cant i have land like that?
  5. thats hot. is that the forester with the oldschool ea82 5 speed tranny in it?
  6. it would cost you about the same if not less to just do a wrx swap, or even a jdm legacy swap. last i checked, bolt on turbo kits are around $2500 and you can get turbo engine swap. that and a swap will last a lot longer than a bolt on turbo set up.
  7. spiffy, you gotta let us know how much difference the bushings make.
  8. welome to the forums. thats a nice looking wagon you got. these things are a lot easier to work on than a honda, everything is up top in the front. the only difference is that you cant find parts by shaking a tree like with hondas. dont be afraid to ask questions and join discussions. peace tim
  9. sweetness, its good to have someone learn the ins and outs of their first car.
  10. the pics are up on nasioc, i just need to get the chance to repost em here.
  11. thanks to all that came, scrapdaddy, thanks for the parts man. john, great seeing you again, and we need to get together again for the track. steve, great to finally meet you. thanks to all the guys from nasioc.com as well extra special thanks go to marc and everyone else that helped set everything up. we have to do this again when it isnt so hot out. thanks to everyone that came and helped out.
  12. bumpity, cause its today!! i cant bloody wait.
  13. unless youve had it retrofitted, its an r-12 system. the white fog might be condensation, and the core might be freezing over preventing the cold air from blowing out. i think.next time it does that, check to see if there is reduced air flow or if yo can tell if the condensor core under the dash had frozen.
  14. if it only dies at idle, it might be the iac. idle air control vavles can get sticky over time and stick in the closed position or not fully open, in which case, the care chokes at idle because not enough air is getting around the throttle plates to keep it alive. sorry i cant help with the link to the usrm or better yet, help you pull the engine. its really easy to do, i think its like 4-5 bell housing bolts, the two motor mounts and the fluids and electrical connections. it usally comes out really easy if te radiator is out and you have a hoist. if i hada hoist, i could most likely pull it in like 30 minutes to an hour. my luck though, id loose my ratchet and spend an hour looking, then something else would come up and id never actuially get it out. but thats just my luck. gppd luck. peace tim
  15. looks about maybe 20 people might be coming. not sure exactly. about the tranny, we tried to get it for you, ive found a few of em, but cant really afford the ones that i can get before te meet. the place i was going to get the tranny from was closed for some reason today on top of all that, it doesnt look like they are open on the weekends.
  16. dude, sometimes you have to just make the time, call out of work sick if you have to, get your friends together and have em beat sensless the guy thats wants to destroy the brat. do what ever it takes. take no prisoners. its a freaking turbo brat, you have no excuses when it comes to rescueing it. get off your duff, get your friends together, get money, talk to the manager with a fistfull or cash. cash speaks louder than words can ever try.
  17. other than the fact that i couldnt find the address for the park, its still easy to find. this is the closest addy to the park i could find, it might even be for the park or the house thats behind the park. 5438 Ballenger Creek Pike looks like mapquest has trouble finding it, just keep telling it to get directions for you.
  18. anyone got children? that turbo looks hungry
  19. friday and saterday, i usually have to work, i even have to work this saterday, at least they moved it to the morning this week. friday is truck day, and the weekend is our money days. give me a call on my celly, 301-305-1807 maybe we can meet up before or after work, i dont know what the schedule ill be next week. peace tim
  20. if im not mistaken, purolator makes the factory filters, but i reccomend the purolator pure-one filter, the filter not only has an anti drain-back valve and high quality filter element, but its blue!!!
  21. get a postal legacy, a jdm legacy sti bodykit, sti suspension and some spare time. throw those all togethe and you can get your own hard core legacy.
  22. you should make your way down this weekend anyways. nothing wrong with a bit of a trip. c'mon man, you know you want to come down this weekend.
