  1. you can get an analog dash for it, my rx has analog gauges.. i heard that the gauge cluster from a brat works with the ea82t harness.
  2. when it does come around for lining up, it would be a bad thing if it didint on only one mark... might indicate bad timing.. look on nasioc, i think this was up there somewhere a few weeks ago, i cant remember how many rotations that came up with though. i cant remember, but i think someone came up with a math formula to figure it out...
  3. you didnt know?! how, i cant turn around without the new sti being plastered on everything. granted, it is kinda soon for a redesign, the just released the last style and only ran it for two years. i kinda like the new style though, granted i still prefer my 2000 2 door rs ....

  5. ive never seen any problems arise from the k&n filters. and you want proven tech, look at cars from like 40 years ago, they came with preoiled filters in almost the same style as the k&n.. hell even k&n has been around for nearly 40 years. they havent been sued outta their money and are still in full production. that seems rather well proven tech to me.....the only issues ive ever seen with the k&n filters were generally user related. like too much oil or not installing em right.

  8. dont bloody care. i will always use a k&N filter. if it was as detrimental as that reports states. my engine shold have locked up about 40000 miles ago. my engine atually runs better now after years of running with a k&n filter than it did when i bought the car....
  9. yeah, i am curius too, i got an impreza l front bumper siting in my bedroom floor and once i get mine inspected and back on the road, i am so getting it put on... we need pics of the impreza body kit on an ea82 car.
  10. could be like when i got my exhasut done, the o2 sensor wire was damaged, so they never bothered welding in a new sensor bung, said that the single wire sensor was a waste of time casue its nothing more than a temp reading and had no difference on performance. needless to say, i dont go to meineke in frederick anymore.

  12. any garage will just use a breaker bar with a 1/2" drive... i think thats what the fsm says too. you WILL need a breaker bar, ive done pull ups on breaker bars trying to get the plug out.

  15. there was a usdm 200sx with a turbo and has the ca18et engine... ive ripped one apart at the junk yard trying to get the injectors, those are hard toget out witout ripping half the car apart. it was less common model than the standard 200sx...
  16. just got home from work, while there, i looked up nissan 200sx turbo injectors in out electronic catalog. $53.97 each. usually available the next day. www.advanceautoparts.com gp sorensen part # 800-1154n oe part # 16603-18f00 great thing about working in a parts store. i got free time to look up random parts:)

  18. your turbo will be a rbh5 vf4 through vf7. doesnt seem to be anything different between the vf4 and 7...i do beleive they are the same turbos. i am wondering if maybe the vf4 was the turbo for the auto tranny cars and the vf7 was for the 5 spd. but thats just a theory.

  22. i can get that msd unit at 20% off retail, gotta love working at a parts store/
  23. i have the msd blaster 2 coil, its great, i am thinking that if i dont conver the car to distributorless ignition, i might go with the msd multy spark box that we sell at the store i work at. as for the accell box looking coil, i think that thing is supposed to be a amonster compaired to the super stock coil they sell. that thing is really heave and has a huge internal winding.
