its made of razor thin stainless steel, it spins the air as it coe in to the intake. it is supposed to creat turbulence to help mix the air and fuel better

i have on, my friend has one. made no difference. just makesa whisling sound at 1/2 throttle. only thing ive heard that it works on is big chevy v-8's. still doesnt do much then.

they are uselessall they do is cost money.

just do an intake on it and it will sound like its got a bov, at least mine did.

i know on my rx with 15"pugs and 205 width tires, the fronts hang out about an inch on both sides of the car, never had any contact between the tires and fenders though.the rear tires are just barely sticking out on the sides. looks hot though, would look better with a wide body kit.

sounds almost like my rx last night. it was trying to over heat and fill the resivior. then i pulled the tstat out. temp didnt sky rocket and the fluid stayed in the engine and radiator. sticky tstat i guess, i just need to flush the system today and prey that fixes all the issues.

you could always get a peice in the center that is threaded on both sides, in opposite directions, that you can turn to either loosen or tighten the brace. think of the supports that are on some old screen doors and gates.. it could work.

ive noticed that the plates fit the new subueis as well, if they are revers compatable, you could get arally skid plate from primitive racing, they make some strong parts from what ive heard. http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/skid.htm i know they use alot of their stuff on their rally car. they even have 10 layer carbon-kevlar armor for the under sides,

same thing here, ford/subaru, guess what they tries to sell me when i came looking for an impreza a couple years ago, a focus, i almost lost my lunch. this was also when there were like 15 seperate recals on the focus as well. i asked about subies and they told me to check out fix or repair daily.

well, i talked to my friend, he said that he would be willing to come up with me if i can make it up there. i might finally be selling the rx this week, if so, i might be able to get out there in another week or so. ill let you know.

everytime i go to the dealer, they say i should just trash the ca and quit trying. then they still cant find the parts i need. idiots.

lat i checked, the cheap ones were like $27k, they go to like $50k or so. at least thats what it said last year.
