All right, seems like we're getting something together, brian and I will most likely be heading up together out of sacramento, I have to pick up a camper. (don't remember if I said that already:) ) and we'll head up wednesday night maybe I want to check out portland I guess for a little while

What day would this overnight be? Thursday?

Right now, I'm thinking of heading up WAY early and hanging out up there for half a day or so. I have to pick up a Brat camper in Sacramento for a member so I think I'll do that wednesday morning, then drive up to portland that day and seeing what to do from there.

yeah it should be an e10 torxx socket. sometimes they're hard to get off even with the socket so be careful.

You know what amazes me? All these people driving these Baja's and when I tell them I drive the "Old Style" Baja, the Brat, they look at me funny and ask me what I'm talking about. And they're not always young teens either, they're older people.

I'm in the same boat, I thought I'd have the brat almost done by then, but now I'm scramblin as to what I want to do and what to leave out.

I'm playin, yeah that was me and I DID get stuck, but not at that exact spot, I backed up the hill a tad and then gunned it and tried to go in a 270 degree loop in front of the camera and got stuck in the snow. Good times! Yeah Big Blue, the RX was filmed at the Jumbo Grade, and the part right after it with the wagon, but everything else is out behind my house in Red Rock / Cold Springs

It SOUNDS like the fuel pump is working. I think it may be in the tank as there isn't even any fuel in the first filter after the tank.

So I made this trailer so that everyone will be able to see kinda what we're doing down here in Nevada. Right now the movie stands at about 35-40 minutes and will hopefully be at about an hour for the show. I plan on having a video to distribute at WCSS7 and want feedback as to who would want a copy. So I took lifted out for a spin today, filled it with 5 gallons of fuel, and it started sputtering a bit a little while after. I turned around and started to head back. The car cut out and I couldn't get it going. There was no fuel in the carb and I traced it all the way back to the filter coming out of the tank. The brat HAD been sitting for a while, but it also HAD driven 100 miles and then some for the last week, so I don't know. Should I drain the tank and try again, or look into getting a new one?

Probably PK at www.ozified.com, yeah they're pretty easy to install, we'd never donw one before my brat and it took us a full day.

Not before me you don't! That's good to know, I don't THINK I'll make it up there thursday night, but I was wondering. It'd be a 13 hour drive from Reno (More or less depending on how I drive:) ) so I **could** make it in a day, but maybe I'll rethink that.
