I have been under the impression that the cars from the PNW are less cancer ridden than those of the NE. I want to know if this is something that I have fabricated in my brain when I was asleep or if this is true. I am looking/inquiring/making the decision for my nephew to either buy or not buy said car. Not really sure what the average mileage life of the NGKs are, depends on several factors.

There is great debate on the efficacy of the expensive plugs being worthwhile. I prefer to go with the base price plug.

NGK brand are the best brand, model # will depend on the engine 2.2 or 2.5. In my opinion I would change the wires at the same time while you are there. I have done them individually and it's not worth the hassel of going back again. Not to mention if one part isn't that good the other is probably on the way out, just a good maintence thing to do.

The Outback is going to surpass the Edge with ground clearence. Can't say how the Edge handles, the Outback is AWESOME. I had a first gen Outback, pushed it to the limit a time or two and it was just phenomenal on its performance. And the 2015 model is no exception, don't know about the limits though, since it's my mother's car that I have driven this year, everything else seems exceptional.
