you could get mog axles, probably cost you close to 5k just for parts not including time to get them to fit and other stuff to make them fit. but they are close to 8:1 ratio
  2. WCSS 11 Pictars Around 700, they'll take a while to load, but should be done by tomorrow morning.
  3. Hatch Patrol Pictures Will be slowly uploading, should be done some time Thursday morning, its on autopilot, but they take time.
  4. What did we learn? Don't leave home without the proper tools to fix what goes wrong with the car. No jack, that's just ridiculous
  5. I'll have a link to the pics i took over the weekend, things at home didn't go so well, so i'll be coming to the subie show alone :-\ Fun stories about that at the show though.
  6. Traction will be your limiting factor, i wouldn't do it with anything less than AWD, and with an EA tranny you'd still be asking for trouble.
  7. I work for beer Its something that i'm good at, and i don't mind paying it forward. No worries.
  8. Check the ignition timing, if its too far advanced you'll get some ping. should be at 20 BTDC if memory serves. +1 on seafoam, works a mint
  9. my boss seems to like ttora.com
  10. I'm already packed, is it too early?
  11. could be low on coolant, 02 legacy could be a head gasket leak
  12. They don't "have" to be, but subaru did put millions of dollars into a safety system that assumes that there will be locking retractors in case of a collision
  13. Tenitively "IN" I'll be rocking a legacy, or a dirtbike, hmm. so maybe no offroading for me. :-\ If anyone has a spare seat, or two let me know, in case i don't bring the dirtbike.
  14. Nice wagon, i'm a total sucker for that color
  15. The seatbelts could be pyrotechnic as well, which is why the old ones locked up. there is the equivalent of a shotgun shell in there that sucks up all the loose webbing in an accident. Don't mix up side to side, disconnect the battery for 1 hour with the headlights on and you should be ok
  16. I have two front fenders sitting on top of my car, i'll let you have em for what i paid for them, free, plus shipping, although local pickup would be much more awesome.
  17. When i was a mechanic my favorite tool combination was a 3/8ths impact with a set of wobble sockets, could damn near take apart 99% of a car with just those tools. Oh, the 1/2 inch was great too, but only when i needed the extra grunt.
  18. I believe even in the 70's there was talk of harassment, until she learned he only wanted an eraser.
  19. When my father first moved here he asked his secretary for a rubber. after some very embarrassed conversation from both sides my dad said "to erase stuff" Apparently in Switzerland they learn British English, and over there a rubber is an eraser.
  20. If half your radiator is cold, then its clogged. If the PO added stop leak get it out of there quick, it will ruin your motor.
  21. My buddy has the 5mt, non turbo. With the topper its the perfect camping vehicle, hauls much much more than the outback.
  22. EA-81 right? the clutch material is thinner on those then the EA-82 More info about your car would help too. a/s/l (ea-81/82)
