  1. So then i wont mention when I got 32 mpg, but that was in a flat square state. I run techron too, But I just get gas when it is on E, makes it less painful at the pump. nipper

  5. ok i am now annoyed sure go ahead and ruin my theory. Bet your showin off the only accurate subaru gas gauge
  6. Its funny, everyone says the same thing, that E takes 10 gallons. Blu takes 10 gallons on E. This is just too consistant to be a random failure or fouling of the fuel senders. E is the new ten Set your trip odometer and go by the low fuel light, but there is really no hamr in filling at E. Now if E took random amounts of fuel in all our cars, then i would be annoyed. nipper
  7. Are you sure you were reading the tank correctly? the "LOW" mark only really means low when the engine is hot. If its cold and you fill the tank to the full line, it will be overfilled when hot and that fluid will flow out the vent hole in the tank cap.
  8. or make it some sort of evil bionic extension of yourself?
  9. Even i wouldn't bother with replacing this unles you do alot of wheeling in deep mud. nipper
  10. Your going to show us a fuzzy picture? nipper
  11. Er um RUN! timing belt and all the gizoms i have never paid more then 650.00 for. There is no connection. Many soobys run around with a weaping cam seal and they do fine. When the main seal or oil pump leak then they can get soaked. You would know it if you had one of those leaking. Just replace the knock sensor and keep driving. If the oil leak gets worse, get estimates from other shops for doing the TB, waterpump, tensioner, idler, cam seals, main seal and re-sealing the oil pump. this shop is more expensive then a dealer ! nipper
  12. er um ..... er one hump or two?
  13. Yes do a search. I think you just need to swap intake manifolds, but it is a common swap to do. nipper

  18. Checjk your universal joints and carrier bearing. If its a universal joint you will notice that it will drop from 55 to 50 to 45 over time. nipper
  19. MUHAHAHAH SUFFER! We had to listen to everyone brag about thier snow all winter, and all we got was bitter cold air. now its our turn YEHAW! nipper
  20. Keep looking. I dont like the fact that it may not have been really maintained well and the rust issues. nipper
  21. Diesels dont really need a low range, but a locking center diff and lockers would be nice. I think a soobyu diesel with low range, you would snap the springs trying to pull whatever that is capable of nipper
  22. I had to check the manual on that as i wasnt sure myself. I did the clean with a pencil eraser thing for the sender. It helped, but didnt cure it. I do the techron thing once a quarter as maintanence. I just know that if its 230 miles on a tank its time to get gas. I can go farther but thats my comfort zone. Otherwise I just fill up on E (about 10 gallons). nipper
