hrmmm blinking all the time is not good. Rule of thumb is never ignore a blinking trouble light, that is its way of screaming at you. Do a search here on 4eat codes and you should find a procedure to pull them. For tranny stuff i usually suggest a dealer beacuse they do NOT want to sell you a tranny. They will just fiz what is wrong with it, as opposed to a regular shop that will just take a look at the mileage and say you need a tranny. Subaru knows these trannies can last the life of the car. nipper

So this is an auto? You have two VSS. One in front of the tranny one in the rear. They are used as data for the spedo, tranny shift, and AWD. The car will operate with just one, but you wont have AWD. The sensors are simple magnetic pickups that can be checked with a meter. Have you checked the sensors themselves to make sure they are ok? nipper

Where did you source the waterpump from? nipper -
Whay are you chaing the starter, they rarely go bad, ist usually the solenoid contacts that go bad. The air box can be a PITA sometimes. Sometimes there are more then two clips (I had a legacy with three.... go figure). Then wiggle it off at an angle ( a right angle to the direction of the sealing lip) Depending upon the brand of air filter that is in there, it can be putting up a bit of a fight. Some fit tighter then others. nipper

Now how will Wil E Coyote ever catch the Roadrunner that way? I dont think you can use nitro in a diesel. nipper

Diesels are coming. Older diesels are sooty machines and for some reason untill recently the rest of the world didnt mind breathing in the soot. We seemed to have a problem with it as it blocked our smog. Europe did not have a partciculate standard on diesel exhaust untill recently. But also the gasoline engine isnt down and out yet either. nipper

HOLY CRAP! I just looked on ebay, and hes right! No coolant temp gauge. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___08-SPORT-AWD-4X4-HATCHBACK_W0QQitemZ200315342801QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20TrucksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item200315342801&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A-2%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Thats unacceptable on any car and a deal killer for me personally. Go out and get a temp gauge, especially on a subaru. nipper

Lets see, professionally speaking, how can I sum it up? JUNK! They dont have a good reputation for anything really. India they will drive a car as long as the drive wheels will propel it, and that same engineering is carrying over. They will make Yugo look like a top notch product (I researched it, as i liked the looks of the truck). nipper
