  8. I know that will work, but why not ask and see what is possible
  9. I understands its not THE best choice for low RPM Tork but its what Im going to stick with, and yes if theres any gain in lowend power then it is worth the effort , if I cam make a few simple adjustments or additions to accomplish this then Im all for it, ok Its a bone stock SOHC the one that came in the car its a 90 EJ22 , so how would I do this? , move a tooth on the belt? or somekind off slotted adjustable cam?
  10. how would I go about doing that? seems like you would want to retard the spark for low RPMS like on my Model T
  11. got my Wheeler going, its runnin a stock EJ22 stock everything, noticed then when wheelin most the slow going is like 100 rpms, is there anyway to get more power down in them low RPMs? maybe somethin with the electronics? I know I can install the Delta cams which ive done on past wheelers , if electrons make a difference would be cool to have a switch on the dash to make the change, any thoughts?
  12. painted the bumper gloss black, it was so moist out it looks more like satin black, been looking for some rear tires cant find any decent 33s used so looks like 2 new ones are in order
  13. well we got another rad in there , Its raining cats and Dogs here so onto the side shields, this came off a Dodge Dakota rear of Cab all installed with my Helper
  14. Innovative keepit up! what rear axle will you run? what body will you run?
  15. .This wiring thing confuses the hell out of me , AND I am pretty sure I already messed up the harness I have because of the wrong pinouts. let me fix it,
  16. Im thinning down a 98 EJ22 harness auto question is , after thinning can I use the grounds on the engine and not ground the harness? and if not which grounds, wire colors would be the ones to hook into for grounds on the harness thanks Guys
  17. 'form follows function', look at the original WW2 Jeep, it was put together to meet a set criteria setup by the war board, looks or style was not part of it, Im against makin something or adding something unless its real and has a function, Myself I wouldnt add stuff for looks, it need to have a purpose behind it, make a list of practical things you want in a vehicle them build around that, if your looking for style or a certain look good luck, that's what Hollywood does , make it real and it will look cool, and the bottomline is it has to preform and not be a Poser
  18. 27-9 tires go with a EJ with the Low Tork Delta Cams its less work for similar results with the stock 3.9DR
  19. my kit at www.sjrlift.com for the EA81 keeps the axles and CVs , and suspension in stock Geometry, should ride like it does now, a big factor will be choice of rims and tires
  20. I have a 90 Legacy wagon with a Auto well the tranny has issues, I just picked up a 96 LegWag with a good auto tranny will it work in there? is the ratio the same? will the electronics work? thanks guys
