  1. Looked at my three shaft assemblies - that have that carrier bushing. 1. one front unit is "shorter" with good bushing and bad front U joint (guessing five speed?) 2. next front unit is "longer" with good bushing and good front U joint (Auto?) 3. Third Unit is complete assembly, long front shaft, has good U joints (has Subaru Sticker, may be replacement assembly) I did buy it from a Yard, perhaps a Decade ago, as a complete driveshaft assembly Had these loose, for so long, forgot which is Auto and which is Five Speed
  2. Since you already sprung for the $$ rebuild kit for the Original, I'd find a Carb Guy to fix what you have. Keeping it all original. I do know one here in Las Cruces, he was employed by the now defunct Pony Carbs for a spell. Frankly I'd look for one that has a Japanese focus, or sideline, there has to be more than one out there. The southeast is not a hotbed for these cars, and if you desire to part it out, you'll sell one critical part, and since then the vehicle is disabled, there's no way to sell the rest. For above Scrap value - say $150 when brought across the Scale. Shipping and Logistics kill me in southern NM, as pretty much everything I sell in my main focus of 64-81 GM classic has to be shipped out of here. Would suspect you'll have the same problems, with Subaru parts, in the Southeast. The areas of interest for the older Subaru tend to be the Pacific NW, the Northeast, and Colorado/Wyoming. In a very general sense. There are always exceptions.
  3. I have a parts EA-82 on a stand right now. Clean desert metal. If you need any hard parts let me know. Also have new timing belts, gaskets, hoses, thermostat, etc. All new. Package deal if you buy it all.
  4. Have a older replacement copper/brass job, near new, a few cosmetic blems. Available. Would imagine anything available now is aluminum with plastic tanks.
  5. Ok - that seems to indicate that the "carryover" Loyales used the earlier tank.
  6. www.subaruparts.com - shows some pre '95 parts still available.
  7. Spectra Premium? Rock Auto? I have a cleaned Wagon tank, it is in my Classifieds Ads Dave S southern NM
  8. I have a flushed / cleaned tank from an '89 wagon. sender/float is clean. Research seems to be that it fits '87 to '89 only. Any reason why this same setup wasn't used in the "carry-over" '90 - '94 Loyale Wagon models?
  9. Yours gone, or trashed? I've got an '89 wagon, I'd be willing to sell Drivers seat, but doubt it matches your fabrics. Dave S
  10. Not trying to Hi-Jack, but have an '89 Wagon 650 miles south, in Las Cruces NM area. 5 speed 4 x 4. Weathered paint and sun damaged interior plastics, vinyls, etc. Very Clean underneath. Maybe both of these Cars can be put together? Will Sell it for $400 without the Engine and Five Speed or $600 with. With All remaining '85 - '94 Compatible parts - $1000. There is a Title.
  11. Have a clean Block for rebuilding and a lot of New rebuild parts - gaskets, timing belts, etc. Willing to ship I've built Crates before. Dave S southern New Mexico
  12. If you had had this vehicle 24 plus months ago, the local yard had several donors that could have been cut up. But they crushed out in Oct '20. Closed. Done. The pick a parts down in El Paso do not allow saws, for most part, and to most individuals. Liability issues. And these cars have dried up, even down here.
  13. "73 Green coupe "Leone"? currently on BaT. Appears to be a near full restoration. Missing some interior plastics. Runs and Drives. Still under $5000 I have no idea of the value of these. Roseburg OR location stated.
  14. Yep it's all about location. Have had this wagon in Denver Craigslist for over 18 months, and still haven't gotten someone to come down and scoop it up. Excellent parts vehicle. Southern New Mexico location. For most, that is about the same as "off the end of the earth" lol
  15. I was going to offer you this body for $500. Have a clear title. Glad you got yours back. Yep this car is in southern New Mexico, off the end of the earth. No enthusiast base for these cars here, they all drive new ones.
  16. I have an '89 parts wagon. 4WD. It has the five speed in it. Engine is already out. Willing to ship this, if you set it up.
  17. Three BRATS still available in Bent, NM on Las Cruces NM craigslist. Were there a week or so ago, with a few general pictures. Package deal - believe it was $1400 for THREE mid eighties BRATS. Should be clean metal on those vehicles. Dave S las Cruces
  18. I got my '89 TBI tank out fairly quickly, but none of the fasteners were seized. That's the beauty of western cars and parts.
  19. I have a pair of boot kits, one is in a box by ARI with part # 910-0025. It has a NAPA Belkamp sticker on it, with part # 686-2192. On NAPA website, they still list late eighties Subaru with the numerical designation - such as 1800 so no idea what if fits, in other words they don't state DL, GL, or Loyale. Weird. Google search doesn't work here, apparently.
  20. I have both knuckles, hubs and rotors from late eighties DL / GL if anyone wants to go that route. Clean W Texas / southern NM metal. Off car and ready to ship. Rotors are turned.
  21. I have some new timing belts and engine gaskets. Fel - Pro & Gates, I believe. Stored inside, away from the weather. EA-82 engine. PM if interested. Dave S southern new mexico
  22. Send me a PM, have an '89 parts wagon. Dave S southern New Mexico
  23. I have my parts wagon and parts collection on Denver Craigslist. Not sure just how many viewers Craigslist has, anymore.
