  1. Nice work. I know and have talked to Regan on several occasions at WCSS. Got one of my EA/EJ adapters from him in a trade. And your build is a lot like the one I'm planning, just a different engine (EJ22T).
  2. The baffles are in the sides, right behind the doors.
  3. Please enable your PM function

  4. Not sure with this year, but see if you can spin the disty rotor by hand. Later years had a screw that holds the rotor to the shaft and they have been known to fall out (ask me how I know). Another possible thing is the coil. You may be getting spark, but it also may not be hot enough. I would swap it out with another one to rule it out.
  5. I have a stock accessory fan on one end and a fan from a car I found in the junkyard (I aint sayin what it came from), but its a 10in fan. I'm looking at aftermarket 10in fans to replace both, something like what you posted. The only thing I had to relocate were my Hella Supertones.
  6. He posted this on Nasioc and I directed him here. I mentioned t-belts and added a link to the procedure.
  7. I have zero room in between the 2, but I'm using a EJ rad. But I was also able to get 2 fans in the front, even with the a/c condenser installed (EJ also)
  8. The EJ22T requires premium because its a turbo. I get by using the mid grade in mine, its a few cents cheaper at least.
  9. You will have to do a lot of investigating on size/length of the projectors for the DL buckets. There isnt that much room in them, not as much as the standard GL buckets. I dont know if they are all glass or metal backed, but if they are metal they can be drilled out to accept a longer unit. I did this with mine. I have LED blinkers in the corner lights and have driving lights where the blinkers where in the bumper.
  10. Picked mine up from Harborfreight, cheap but it works.
  11. I run mid (89) in all 3 of mine. The Brat because its high comp. The RX because its turbo. The SVX because its......a SVX
  12. I completely removed the harness that went to the engine bay and removed all the EA engine related stuff. Then I spliced the EJ engine wiring together with the EA leftover wiring (lights, horns, etc) and put it all back in just like it was factory. My ECU is in the same location as OEM.
  13. I removed everything including the steering column. But I'm kind of anal about stuff like that. And thats why I get so many comments about how clean my swap is.
  14. New plates are required every 7yrs in the state of WA. They make you buy them when you go to get your new tabs.
  15. Any EA81 hood will work - Brat, Wagon and Hatchback.
  16. To bad the car still thinks theres a EGR in it. My Brat's EGR light came on and all my stuff is removed. Thought it was really weird until I saw the mileage......180K. Thats when I knew I had to get under the dash and switch the plug.
  17. Thats the easiest of what it he's doing, look at that body work!
  18. I swear I just saw this for sale on CL. I did........http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/2888802505.html Did you just buy this or selling and are you related somehow to Nico? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=125228
  19. What they are trying to here is that the style you have came in 2 different sizes. One is a 15in wheel, the other is a metric (390mm) wheel. You have the metric wheels, which are pretty worthless considering tires for them costs a few hundred dollars.....each.
  20. Sounds like a general bad ground issue, have you checked those yet? Also the coolant sensor has been known to corrode and give the car runability problems.
