  1. As far as I know the turbo heads don't flow as well as the n/a ones.I think thats why when someone builds up the ej22t block the first thing they do is get different heads. The other thing about the turbo heads is I believe the c/r will drop because of larger comb chamber.Good luck.
  2. Jon has a top notch looking brat that you may want.
  3. Wow nice find!I haven't seen that picture before.
  4. I think any year that had T-tops will work.Search under "fun tops" for this and I think you will find the info you need.Good luck.
  5. The ER27 while it is a good engine weighs alot more than your ea82 does.I think you would be better off moddin' your engine a little or replace with a ej22.Just my thoughts.

I really like the rim and tire combo.Looks much better with the mud I agree.
  7. First of all Jeff clean out your inbox nobody can pm you. Second did you remember the plastic KungFu master shoes from the JY. And lastly how did it go with your engine at the JY?
  8. I really like that hatch!Where about did you take those pictures?Looks like a nice area.I really like the roof basket! For carrying camping gear and the wood I like that. How much of a lift on your car and what type of superswampers are those?Very nice!
  9. I will keep that in mind if I ever come across doing the swap myself. Thanks
  10. Man you got me thinking about king crab! That is some good stuff. There are a couple good resturants to hit if you are in the anchorpoint/homer area.Good stuff!
  11. Hmmm.EJ into an rx?That would be cool.So what ej motor?
  12. Hey Phil if you need an extra hand let me know.I have done a fair about of block sanding and body work in my day.Just keep it in mind if you do.
  13. I was at pull n save today and saw a nice brown colored gen 1 wagon. It was parked in the parking lot and looked to be in really nice shape.I wondered if it belonged to anyone off of the board?Looked like it was 4wd. Also in the junkyard was a custom from bumper on a '78 4wd wagon.Kinda rusty on the surface but saveable. Anyway if anyone knows who owns the old suby wagon I saw let me know.I really liked it.
  14. That really sucks.I will keep that bit of advice in mind and tell it to friends as well. Thanks and I hope the new cats work better.
  15. Dang it!!! That sounds sweet! Too bad I won't be able to go.
  16. Some other things to think about when turboing your justy. -May want to replace the oil pump or rebuild it,since those are one of the weak links on that motor. -Might want to add in an oil cooler of some kind since there isn't that much oil to begin with on that engine. Those are just a couple I could think of to begin with. Also are you putting a FMIC or TMIC on that car?
  17. Looks like that turbo would be about perfect.Going with something too large would suffer from turbo lag terribly on such a small engine.I think that would be a good choice for a turbo.
  18. Thats funny,I had the same idea for mine. The only difference is I want to paint the tips of my needles with a phosforescent color so they glow.(Used to use that paint for the sights of my gun when hunting in low light.)
  19. That would be really cool.I would like that with a "V" mount intercooler up front.I would drive it!
  20. I have a intercooler from a 1996 Jetta TDI that I bought for just that sort of thing. It isn't too big but has a thick 3" core so it would cool really well without taking up very much space.Let me know if you are interested in something like that.
  21. The problem with rebuilding turbo's is that after they are apart they will need to be balanced dynamically.I have rebuild a couple of turbos and it is a good idea to have a stand to be able to balance them on.Very easy to rebuild a turbo but...if you do not balance it chances are it will not last as long. There is a company I can refer you to located in golden,co.They rebuild turbo's and such and are fairly resonable on prices and are very good.Good luck. http://www.turboengineering.com/
  22. I am not sure but someone correct me if I am wrong:Hydraulic clutchs usually don't fade very much before they go like the standard mechanical ones I have noticed.I could be wrong but I would probbly just replace it.
  23. Very nice Shawn.Glad to see her out in the open air.Are you still looking for parts?I haven't seen anything lately just had to ask. Nice Job!
