  1. I might be interested in one as well.I would love to have one out of a EJ chassis. Also looking for a dual carb aircleaner box off of the early jdm ea81 dual port motor. Thanks
  2. Try shooting it with some graphite powder. The key may be worn out too. Also if you or the previous owner liked having one of those key chains with alot of stuff on it,chances are it might have worn some of the pins out on the tumbler.Another option is see if your key is worn.I know you had said you used the spare key and it did the same thing so I don't think it is that.Good luck.
  3. Stick your hand in some really cold ice water.I think it should come off then.Let your hand get really cold and your skin will contract allowing enough room to get it off.
  4. I don't think it will be too hard to make it fit.Might be as simple as dropping it in or elongating one of the bolt holes or something like that.Either way it can be done, but I am no expert.I just know if you want it bad enough you can do it.
  5. I like the way it looks with no A/C compressor sitting there taking up space like a 30lb. cupcake. Will definately be like putting your car on a diet.
  6. Looks really nice!Sits up nice.Really adds to the mean effect of the car.
  7. When you pull that tank spray the bolts&nuts down with good dose of pb blaster.Makes coming apart and putting back together much easier.
  8. Nicely done Russ!I am sure you will find room to store them.I am glad you have an interest in the old ones cause alot more of them need some tlc.Glad you got ahold of them.
  9. If it were me I would lift it a little but not skyhigh.I would go kinda inbetween rally and offroad.I think it would get a little bigger tires and the forester springs under it.Definately power mods to that car to make it come alive.Nice car btw.
  10. Very nice.I liked the movie clip.I agree porting your intake does help.I have a stock hitachi on my ported ea81 intake and you can definately feel the difference alone.I like the flag too!
  11. Sweet!Good idea. Really like the bumper and I agree the skidplate will definately add the final touch!
  12. Wow that would be awesome!
  13. Sounds interesting.I want to hear more.
  14. Sounds like a great deal.I like those turbo legacy's.Wouldn't mind having one myself.
  15. I am still looking for a sti scoop for you. Also that will be one sick car with a jdm exhaust! I bet it will sound mean.I may have some connections with getting somethings painted on your car if you would need.I can get you a good deal.
  16. I am going to end up using the kyb gr2's also on the front.I was actually wondering the same thing with that strut mount.Good to know I don't have to get those.
  17. Never looked at how to remove them, but that is a good idea of changing the color on them.Should look great.
  18. Nice job! Also give you a A+ for making use of what you find in the dumpster!
  19. Car looks good with the 2 lights on the front.Looks ready to tear it up next to that little mini.
  20. Nice job with the cup holders.I like the fact that they are up and out of the way of you knees.Looks like it will work good and hold strong. Now you just need to put a coffee warmer in there under the cup somehow and it will keep your drink warm.
  21. That kinda looks like the rally lights power wires that are on his bonnett(hood).
  22. Definately a worthy project car!Good score:)
  23. Big sigh of relief I am sure.I can relate!Very happy to hear and I am eager to see it.
