  1. The sickness must spread rapidly because I have it too! I always try to squeeze extra time in to go to the junkyard and look for stuff. And yes the only cure is getting more parts and or cars.
  2. try some of that anti squeek goop and put it on your pads and re assemble it.Might just help.
  3. Really nice job cab. I can't wait to see it.How much boost are you set up with right now?Looks like it will be a good runner.
  4. First off do you use synthetic oil?The reason I ask is that you cannot see synthetic oil being burned out the exhaust pipe.(A trick I learned that dealers do to sell a oil burning car is to put synthetic in it and you will never see it burn).
  5. Happy St.Patty's from a fellow Irish person.Bring on the green beer!
  6. I have seen a little 'rs' justy here in colorado.I saw it one time when I was driving down broadway. It was a white 2dr and said rs right by the justy name just like in the picture. The one I saw looked like it was the older body of the justy.
  7. I did that swap before too.I really dont have much good to say about the carter weber.I really didn't like the way it worked.
  8. Because your plugs read lean could still be the Accelerator pump. Not getting enough fuel when you are accelerating could be another part of the hesitation.I still think you will need to check things a little further on the carb.Good luck.
  9. Just curious how many miles? Is it worse in different weather?
  10. That is helarious!Nice ghetto fabbed bowtie on the back.Subaru meet the Clampets!
  11. I got an extra spider intake if you need it.
  12. Ummm.If it's that ghetto I have to see it.
  13. Man that is a really sweet looking car.I love the fact that its d/r and rhd!
  14. I wanted to thank you for including the rest of us with this stuff.I really apreciate the generosity. Also glad to see that brat you bought from Mick found a good home.Is it going to get dualled?
  15. I just ordered another set of a intake with carbs and then a bare one without carbs! So now I will have 3 total duals!I know I am a hog about these things.I just can't help myself!
  16. Welcome! Sounds like you have a nice Brumby on your hands.I know there are a few guys in in Nz that will probly chime it at any time. Again Welcome!
  17. Along with porting the heads do a little on the intake as well and also see if a larger TB will fit or just port the one it comes with.Custom header comes to mind also.Sounds like a fun project.
  18. Seen it a couple of times, but not really common.I think I have seen it mostly on brats or older wagons.
  19. You will need a 36mm socket for the axle nuts and a special brake tool to turn in those pistons on the calipers cause you can't just push them in like most brake jobs.Pretty straight forward if you are experienced like you said.
  20. This evening while traveling on SB HWY 285 I got passed by a burgundy color brat right around the wadsworth exit.It looked to be a really nice one.The liscense plate said "86 Brat" and it was a colorado plate. So I just wondered if it belonged to someone on the board?Nice brat to whoever owned this one!
  21. A cruise sounds ok,but what about some offroad trails?Even just a few winding dirt trails would please me.
  22. Yes you will want the 32/36 DGV or DGEV.If you do a search you will find quite a bit of info on them. You can get them from Redline or carbs unlimited.I know there is plenty of info to be had.The real question is weather or not you want one you will have to rebuild or one that is set up and ready to go.Good luck.
