February 15, 201214 yr Here's one that I did some decals on. That's pretty much exactly what I'm going for, only dark blue... right down to the 4" lift, jump seats and black steelies. I'll be giving you a call soon enough for decals:headbang:
February 15, 201214 yr Here's one that I did some decals on. What are the tires on that and what size steelies?
February 15, 201214 yr What are the tires on that and what size steelies? Those are the 14" 27x8.5 BFGoorich All-Terrains which are discontinued in 14" (You might get lucky and find NOS)
February 16, 201214 yr That was my first EA81T rebuild (HG and seals). This picture was even used by someone trying to sell a engine on ebay
February 17, 201214 yr Those are the 14" 27x8.5 BFGoorich All-Terrains which are discontinued in 14" (You might get lucky and find NOS) Maybe for a 27", but not for 14" 195/75R14 is available right now on tirerack:headbang:

February 17, 201214 yr My, that's one custom off-road Suby! Is there anything left that's still Subaru under the hood?
February 18, 201214 yr Author My, that's one custom off-road Suby! Is there anything left that's still Subaru under the hood? Your answer: This car is running a Saturn 1.9L, DOHC, Toyota 5-speed transmission, Marlin crawler box, and a Toyota t-case with 4:1 marlin gear set. It also has the upgraded main shaft. 4-link front and rear suspension with Sway-a-way coil overs, custom Dana 44 front with alloy shafts, welded and full hydro steering. Custom 9" rear with moser shafts, lockrite. 5.13 gears. This car is 217:1 final drive in low-low range. It is a full tube chassis with a subaru wagon skin/body. It is currently sitting on 35" Maxxis Treppadors, competition compound. They are very soft and get traction nearly everywhere. Car also had an older Warn M5 winch that works very well and is loaded with Amsteel Blue synthetic winch rope. It is built into the front end of the car so it is tucked up nice and tight, out of the way. Here is the build thread: http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=109844&highlight=Stupidru
February 18, 201214 yr Those are the 14" 27x8.5 BFGoorich All-Terrains which are discontinued in 14" (You might get lucky and find NOS) You can still buy BFG AT's that fit a 14" wheel. I just bought a set of 6 for my Subaru from Americas Tire Company.
February 18, 201214 yr My point was, you can no buy them in 27" anymore. The 195s are 25" (Which is stock Legacy size)
February 18, 201214 yr UberScoober I think it was very funny ride . Here's mine on a local amateour competition. Sorry for dirt - there was too cold for washing (about -15C).
