Ratio of running vs. non-running subarus

Featured Replies

Just curious, since most people on here own several subarus, and many of them are "project vehicles".....

How many subarus do you currently own that run and move under their own power?

And,

How many subarus do you currenlty own that do not run or otherwise cannot move under their own power?

I'll start...amazingly, both of mine run!

The '86 BRAT and the XT6 are drivers, others are parkers.

I got one, my Brat, and my brother bought two wagons, both wrecks, but his fixin one up. Hopefully it will become the coolest subie wagon here in Australia, prolly not tho. Lots of wicked plans for it :D So, out of three, only one runs at the moment! :D

3 Impreza's, all run & drive

'99RS

'96 Brighton coupe

'93 "L" sedan

3 Legacy wagons, all run & drive

'92 "L"

'92 Turbo

'93 "L"

2 Brats, both run, only one drives(at the moment)

'85 Beauty

'86 Beast

1 '89 XT6, runs & drives

1 '86 GL10 sedan, runs and drives

So, 10 run and 9 drive.

One running.

Two not. :-\

both run, rx wagon is a daily driver

dl wagon runs and drives, but no title for it yet, so it can't be driven.. wonder how that classifies in this post, lol

4 for 4...

the '84 runs and moves, but I wouldn't drive it too far... the chain from the trailer broke the bolts on one side of the moustache bar, and stopping is a little tricky with no brake lines :(

85 hatch junk

85 ea82 wagon chopped up for pattern making

88 wagon lifted runs

91 loyale cooked engine

88 turbo wagon runs , may become the ultimate offroader

87 ea82 wagon stock daily driver

90 Lagacy wagon fires , working on this one

7 total 3 run 4 dead

2 others at my place but they are not mine

87 and 88 wagons both do not run. Thank god for my Ford Probe. Best car I have ever had really.

Three! All run like a top. 79 BRAT w/79K, '00 Forrester w/49K, and a '97 SVX, w/26K miles.

Wife's 94 Legacy - Running Great

My 88 RX - Running Great

Project Cheap 86 Lifted Sedan - Running good, drove it today in the snow and -5 degree weather on the way to work.

88 DL Sedan - Not running at all, but this is just a parts car for Project Cheap, it did run before I parked it.

so 3 out 4.

1 '91 XT6. Runs poorly lately, drives great if not for the running issue. See my woes here on XT6.net.

All 4 are running but the engine is coming out of the brat and XT6 this weekend so i can start working on the er27 engine swap and engine bay prep. But they all run great!

4 running ('91 T-Leg, '87 RX, '98 GL Wagon, '90 Loyal Sedan)

1 not ('86 turbo coupe, parts)

But I've only been doin the Subaru thing for a few years, dont even ask about my old VWs, been doin them for a long time, currently I think I've got 1 running, 6 not and 2 sheds full of parts. Current total of all vehicles on the property is 10 running, 10 not.

Gary

I have 4, they all run... however....

the 85 twagon has an almost two piece driveshaft, so it doesn't get driven (it does run!)

85 carbed wagon... no title for it yet... but it runs!

the 88 GL and 91 Loyale are daily drivers.
