so as many of you know i have sold my EJ20G powered turbo coupe to another board member (Sister7).

 

thus i am now in need of a new project.

 

one sugestion SVX powered XT6 (been done but would be fun)

 

EJ20 twin turbo brat (maybe... single turbo though)

i think a lowered ea81 hatch with a ej20tt and 6sp awd would be sweet.

 

then paint it black with tinted windows and black wheels with 1 red stripe down the side.

 

i`m sure pretty much any older sube you put an ej20g or tt or t will be pretty slick.

but lower and with black sti alloys, a bigger engine, and red lettering.

 

a gen 1 wagon would be cool as well.

twin turbo EA81 into a '79 4wd wagon, d/r 5-speed, lowered, and paneled:banana: I was going to source a couple turbos from the canadian model of the Pontiac fireflys (1.0L) and put those on there...

i thrid this!! keep the exact look with black with polished lip wheels but throw in a high grade motor of some sort and make it really rocket

It's probably out of your budget but a turbo EZ30 in a XT6 along with a 6-speed and DDC would be quite the project.

Since I got to see both your EJ20G powered cars at Subiefest, I can imagine seeing that old black hatch with the sound of a serious engine coming from it.

...plus it was Jackie Chan's car. You can't go wrong!

Probably going to have to repaint it, Hatches didnt come in black.

supercharged ER27 or EG33. turbo's and 4 cylinders are too easy for you now dave! step it up a notch....

+1 for the vote for a hatch! I think a black one would be great or a white one with a new interpretation of the old SRX rally hatch would be great.I think the ej20 would be perfect!

While I REALLY like the hatch idea, it won't be too unique for long.

 

I know another board member that has a hatch, an EJ turbo clip, and well... some Subaru 4wd vinyl I just made.

 

I'd look at doing an xt6 or wagon with the H6 3.0 in it. NA ftw.

That's what I was thinking...a supercharged EG33 pushing a hatch or Gen 1 BRAT or EA82 would be sweet! The possibilities are endless!

 

(By the way...if you end up using an EG33 or 3.0 with forced induction, let me know how you did it - that's my next mission...)

not a project for yer man there, but i have just dropped on a 150dollar 1990 brat, with cloth seats, 5speed box, diflocks! and a pair of mint front wings, I don't really need the car, so was thinking about making my 1993 into a long wheel base or long rear overhang like the northern europe models [then I can get my moto in the back [also a boxer]

Yeah, i got "dibs" on the cannonball hatch, got the hatch in the driveway, and the turbo at the shop, Just need a turbo tranny, which i'll be picking up from a place in tacoma later this month.
