Let's see everyones OFF ROAD light set-up

Featured Replies

Yeah, I went out the other night and flipped them on and there was no real reflection I could notice. :D

It's a Yakima Megawarrior rack, I was originally looking for a Loadwarrior but I found a really good deal on craigslist for this one.

And did you notice any loss in gas mileage with the rack?

Sorry, forgot that part. Nah, I've taken it on and off, gone on road trips, I've never really seen a noticeable drop in MPG or anything.

Could I get a side shot of that roof rack? I want to see how it looks and how it's designed.

Hey where can those brush guards be found?

In Australia. So... far... away. :horse:

But we have tourches, tube benders and tube. Lets do it.

Those aren't brush guards, they look like Australian roo bars :)

Thats my mate Mike's on the left, his lights are Hellas on the roof, flood or combo beams (not exactly sure), much nicer offroad than mine, but he can't see as far on the highway.

Here are my son's lights. I have to remind him he can't run them on the street.

Info on that leggy? that thing is dope!

The Liberty is an EJ20t conversion, auto, not sure of the specs there.  Two inch strut top lift.  Went pretty well offroad, but the larger turbo didn't do well in the boost department at altitude, and it wasn't great altitude either - ~1400 to ~1700 metres...

I'm now looking into some rooftop lights for Ruby Scoo, but dunno how it's going to go as the snorkel will get in the way I reckon...

Cheers
