January 27, 200422 yr I got the new bumpers on the 88 DL this weekend, and i dare say she is looking mean now. http://usmb.net/gallery/album110
January 28, 200422 yr Tony, did you replicate the ones you have on your turbo wagon??? Or did you just send them to him. They look exactly like yours. Cant wait to get mine attatched to the front of the Wagon. -Brian
January 28, 200422 yr Those look sharp, and it's good to know you're feeding a board member instead of SOA.
January 28, 200422 yr Author Soobme I haven't had a chance to put the spacer plate on, the bolts are too short, like a quarter of an inch. i have intake bolts that will take care of that though, i have an axle problem that is taking precidence. Amanda I will get a new sticker pick, just as soon as i get the new stickers on the car, when it gets above freezing.
January 28, 200422 yr Author the price was about 300 with shipping, depending on your options and picking them up yourself you could probably get them for around 200 ish
January 28, 200422 yr Yeah - that's for front AND rear. Tony is very reasonable. Just wait till you all see the ones he's building for me...... Can you say "swing out tire carrier"? GD
January 28, 200422 yr ..where is dey is? Sounding like its out near GD....gotta have one.I mean two....damn I'd get 2 sets if I had the dough right now.I really don't want to have another deer waste another wagon.Especially my rust free baby turbo "waggin" from the southwest....every night I drive home I have to look extra close for eyeballs glaring back at me from the side of the parkway.
January 28, 200422 yr Paul. Tony is located in Southern Oregon. I'll be visiting him soon to pickup my new front bumper. he's the one who built my rack as well. http://twb.usmb.net to see his line of accessories -Brian
January 28, 200422 yr I'm definitely getting one of those rear bumpers for my 84 GL wagon. Does the bumper just attach to the old bumper brackets?
January 28, 200422 yr Tony, you ever fab anything up for a Gen-1? Like Moosens, I'm terrified of a deer taking out eyesore (and me)
January 28, 200422 yr Those are some excellent products. Too bad I live so darn far away... Keep up the good work!
January 28, 200422 yr Those bumper rock toni, hopefully soon we can talk about mine!?! Ill see you Friday we can chop it up then:cool: -Sean
January 28, 200422 yr Originally posted by eyesore Tony, you ever fab anything up for a Gen-1? Not yet, but I will be doing one VERY soon:brow: I love the lines of front end on the gen.1's, can't wait to make it
January 28, 200422 yr (TWB plug on:)If your getting a TWB part, then you know your gettin some good stuff. (TWB plug off:) Tony is the sh## when it comes to fabrication. If he needs a tool, he makes it himself. That right there tells you the quality. He just doesn't go down and buy tools, he invest Time And Money into his tools to make them himself!! I am extremely proud to have him in my crew, (also because he's insane enough to come up with some of the same idea's that I have as far as Subie's go. )
January 29, 200422 yr Hi Tony, is there a bumper with a winch mount, or another thing i was thinking is to make the winch mount plug into the reciever hitch....hee hee.... that way you could disconnect it and put it in front or back. but the power leads would be a problem in the rear.... anyway, i should have your soobfari rack on pretty soon david
