Thanks

It's a bi*** to start when it's cold. Kicker only...

I highly recommend the Crane Cams digital ignition system, if you don't already have it installed. It has a provision for kick starting that makes sure the front cylinder fires first so it doesn't kill you if it backfires. Or something.

Thanks Nug

We went with the SE 4 (because it was free) and 10:1 pistons along with a digital ignition system. This was mainly my son's project, most of the parts were scrounged or traded for. It's just fun to ride...:burnout:

Beside the 81 wag. 86 Brat, and the 85 parts brat I have a 66 Chevy K10 with a Mild build 383 that gets 5mpg:mad:

A 65 Chevy with a 250 I6 gets 22mpg:headbang:

A 76 F250,300 I6 gets about 14MPG, Only reason for that was the $500 price tag and no rust at all

I own a 1988 Toyota Camry 2.0 GLi Automatic which I partly restored two years ago. I don´t drive it during winter and in everyday-traffic anymore, so it hardly drives 1000 miles a year, but it´s very rare in Austria, so people are looking at it when I cruise by. Think of selling it next year.

I have too many vehicles...

My 2006 CBR600RR with almost 40k miles on it:

My 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS AWD. Intake, exhaust, roof rack, insane sound system. My g/f drives it more than me now since it sucks down the gas and I have a 35 mile commute each way.

92 Loyale that I've had up and going for all of 6 days now. 332k miles, and as stock as can be, with lots and lots of new maintenance items. Won't be stock for long.

1979 Suzuki GS850GN. Girlfriend commandeered this one too (notice a trend?) but it's alright because it means she stays away from the CBR. Bought it for $100 as a total basket case and pieced it back together over 3 months. Runs like a dream now, and gets to 100 pretty easily.

And finally, the truck I learned to drive in almost 10 years ago. 1973 Ford F100 longbed 2wd with a 302. My parents were moving about 3 hours north and were going to give the truck away since it had intermittent running issues and they didn't want to tow it all the way up there. I hadn't touched it in about 3 years (had since acquired a lot more wrenching knowledge) and discovered it was simply a bad connection to the coil, and the coil was bad as well. $23 later, I had it running, and my parents signed it over to me.

No pics of this one... no idea why.
