  1. Yes they will and it will provide a 4 inch lift and one firm ride. Hit up Zap as he's the one I got the info from as he did it to his old 96 OBS.
  2. I know a few of the Outback guys on other forums have put Forrester struts and springs into their Outbacks giving them a mild lift over stock and Nipper on here has the AA kit on his Outback. I personally am looking at getting some King Springs to lift my Outback so I can have a little more fun. King Spring lift- AA lift- Forrester lift-
  3. Got pics? Interested to see what and how much of a lift we're looking at.
  4. Other than direct from the manufacture in OZ, IDK but would like to know myself.
  5. Hey Nipper, how much larger of a tire are you able to run and what lift kit are you running again? I wonder what Kings would do with that lift of yours:brow:? Scott, how long before your kit is complete for the rear ends of our (96-99) cars and how big a lift are we talking about?
  6. Man that sucks!!! At least you were able to get it back though at no cost to you though. As Loyale stated be careful with the big wigs, not worth loosing your job over.
  7. Works for me too. ABSOLUTELY SIC man SIC:headbang:. Wish I had the funding and time to duplicate with my Wagon AND a Gen 1 BRAT.
  8. X2. One of these days I WILL do so, hopefully with a EA81 though.
  9. I've met a few people who have done the square tube drive shaft and had no problems with them. Would be interesting for the fronts though. Put a u-joint on each end for extra crazy abilities and droop.
  10. Man that looks good. Glad it worked out good for ya.
  11. Granted but still and maybe off topic for DIY but Line X is the best I've come across being a Valet attendant dealing with ranchers trucks. No stains or nothing (I asked off record) on what looked like "sprayed yesterday but not" or not and yes, rhino is good but still stains but I would personally go Line X. Check out Discoverychannel.com(?)
  12. Got my BRAT up and running but have a "clunk" coming from the front end. Been told by the PO that it could be the brake pads but want some experienced expertise. Happens within 20 feet of driving over smooth road so........ Wheel does not move more than 1/2 inch when off ground and would like some ideas.
  13. MAN!!!!!!! I would LOVE to have a WRX with a Porsche Boxter engine in it. Bet it would haul arse:grin:. Gotta love people:).
  14. Nice come back Bosco, took long enough:grin:.
  15. ^ Pick a Monday or Tuesday and I'll be there given enough time.
  16. I like your gas door. Did you do that or did it come like that? I'll be doing that to mine as soon as I find a good button for mine. How does next Monday sound for our get together? pm me. PS- your BRAT does look hella nice, especially with the rims:headbang:
  17. ok I'll skip the t-case and whole transmission weight topic and go to the PnP. Porting won't hurt it but don't go ballistic; basic casting flash cleanup is good enough and SKIP the polishing- don't cut back the turbulence as it's good as is and polishing will hurt rather than help so I've been told, unless that is you are going ballistic on your build and trying to get 110+hp.
  18. So the button on my gas door for my 84 Wagon is broken and I would like to replace it with a new one or a locking setup. Anyone have any ideas? I remember reading somewhere about someone having a similar issue but am not going to search 21 pages of topics to find it (meaning yes i searched but after 2 pages of nothing gave up). Thanks.
  19. Yeah, it was like CHiPs and a slow motion car chase but still thought it was pretty cool. The red one sat taller and looked like a cooler off road version than the RX IMHO but then again, I would've had the RX for canyon carving instead of off roadin. Still cannot believe he pushed it off that edge though:eek:. Wonder in m(any) are still around?
  20. Look at the transmission. It's a standard FWD setup with a rear output added. Great idea but yes "funky".
  21. Yeah, sure it doesn't exist. We know you've been redoin your Buggy and this is how it tuned out:lol:. Sic Sic SIC idea though. I'd do it in a heart beat if I had the time. You gonna add a t-case too?
  22. Rear window got busted out before I bought it. Thankfully my friend had another on one of his parts BRATs that I was able to score. My BRAT has been sitting for 10 years in the same spot and I still CANNOT believe that after so long a time of sitting that the only problems are a horn that doesn't work and a turn signal bulb is out. Otherwise all is good minus said "clunk". Plans are to give it a 5 inch lift, 27s, built EA81 w/ SPFI and Kustom square tube bumpers and a Kustom high bar roll bar. But first I gotta SMOG it and register it then it's on like Donkey Kong:headbang::headbang:.
  23. I think you be in Heaven man!
  24. OK, sorry for laggin been busy working on the BRAT and my job. Here are pics as promised and got the hoses figured, now I gotta figure out the clunk from the drivers front wheel, possibly brake pads according to my friend or the axle end not kosher with the hub. On to the pics. Also, anyone know a good locking (key style) set up for the Wagon fuel door?
