The o-ring i sourced for the pump. (not the Mickey but the regular one) was too fat. And i didn't make any oil pressure. So... I guess I'm gonna by an oil pump set. Sucks though cause i don't think any thing is wrong with the pump itself... Just all the rubber. This daily driver is working out to be a project all its own but its cool I'm learning a lot!

I went to napa and they got a new o-ring but i had an old one to help match it up.

The adapters worked fine for me. That was a street car though(2wd xt). So i can't say anything for their offroad abilities...

Huh? Removing the ac compressor to do timing belts and oil pump is adding extra work to the job. Leave it alone! :-)

Did you ever consider that the xt6 was the catalyst for sti opening in 88? And that maybe the 5 lug and cybrid steering and the like were designed by the team that became STi? I often think of the XT6 that way...

So... Opinions not needed, but being entertained nonetheless. Franken 2.5 Ej22 Ej22 turbo Ej22 franken turbo Ej18 franken turbo Maybe try and get some more go outta the EA82? Cams head work etc... Or even crazier... Needs to still be rally cross viable. Maybe.. Coif always rx the loyale... (but its starting at a handling disadvantage)

My sedan sit fairly high too. I've seen both 4wd dls and 2wd gls.

"drive something noone else has" this is me and my XT and now my loyale. You don't see them every day here, or ever for that matter... But to be fair. I haven't done any of the upgrades to them.... Yet. i don't see much new Gen stuff here either though. Mostly see Altima Camry and Chevy 5.3 crap.

My XT has the FWD front struts and some fairly short rear struts too. I love the way it handles. The sedan really sits higher and with a tiny front sway and no rear.. yeah the handling is lacking.

My Co worker was astonished at me the other day. They all know how much i love my two ea82 cars. He teased me that i would trade them both for a WRX. I flatly declined the fictional offer. I can totally afford to own a wrx. I would just rather drive my XT.

Shouldn't need to fit a new radiator. So long as yours is clean and working well. Of course up grading is great if you're feeling froggy and have the jack to spare.
