  1. This may have been posted a few months back, but I'm still glad to see it again. As many folks may well feel: OMG! + Not quite the route I'd take! Even though I think the 'ol Dodge Magnum is weak-sauce, I think that it is one of the best custom body work jobs I've ever seen on a subaru (new or old) It even makes a truck wing look 'okay'! It does need a Viper V10 in it if it's going to look that outrageous, though. The detailed build pic.s are great to look at & highlight the amazing amount of work that went into that body.
  2. Psych! Got you! Seriously, though . . . Those wheels make the car look waaaay better, IMO. I thought it had a 'sloppy' look on the stock wheels (which where rusty).
  3. Never seen it. But I doubt a Subie could sport them.
  4. I'm using them & they work well. One thing that I noticed when I removed a wheel once is that the washers looked beat up and may require some coaxing to extract them from the wheel.
  5. Man you have a good attitude! I think I would be pissed off at them. But then again, I don't do the emissions thing here in MT, so just the idea of getting tested is upsetting to me.
  6. You can go as fast as you like! I've never had any ill effects, nor have I heard of any from others.
  7. Wow, that's a cool website! I just looked up usmb.net & it only goes as far back as 2003 . . . http://web.archive.org/web/20031203064351/www.usmb.net/repair/
  8. Wow! The first USMB'er w/ 4 Handbrake controls and the 2WD D/R Mod. wins!
  9. http://usmb.net/albums/album220/Turbo4WDSubaru.jpg I used this in my sig. back when we had them. I love the EA81T decals - they're awesome & almost no 2 are alike!
  10. You should specify what model Subaru you are refering to. My EA81T gasket WAS cork & I think the RTV trick good is for all materials. I think it helps the most w/ material like cork because relying on cork is just plain silly.
  11. Took me 2 minutes to find the 4Runner a 0 minutes to find the GL & OBW.
  12. Very nice - those are the shiniest stock alloys I've ever seen.
  13. 1) Is the frame welded or bolted onto the bed? Can I use a sawzall to remove it w/out damaging anything? [Theres a bunch of snow in the truck bed now & I feel like staying inside where it's warm-ish.] 2) What is the value of the whole kit? What have you guys paid/recieved for a mint (or otherwise) jump seat set? Thanks for input, -Noah
  14. Suddenly, I feel like I have been living under a rock . . . I've never realized there where turbo 4Runners . . . I know about TRD superchargers, but not these turbos. That's a sweet ride.
  15. I have the same problem in an EA81 (never got around to fixing it, prob. won't) I would suggest that you you try to clear out the clog w/ pressurized air.
  16. It looks really cool!: DON'T BUY FROM AN A.H@LE IMO, you guys should all click the CL 'Scam' button if he's not willing to sell. He'll get the message. No one should be this difficult if they are trying to sell a highly specialized car like this. What a jerk.
  17. What does 'going too far' refer to? Regarding going to larger tires, my '83 (very different animal) has 27's and it's legit. I have lift and trimmed the front fenders to fit the tires. I think 27's will fit - (you should check that w/ board members; someone has mentioned that part of the Legacy suspension limits the size of tires....search).
