  1. Aftermarket cv axles? How's the driveshaft?
  2. Nice. I saw your Forester on subaruforester.org. Love the skid plate!
  3. Just FYI, towing capacity and winching are two different things entirely.
  4. Should be able to undo the endlinks, rotate the bar ends upwards into position, and then reattach the endlinks.
  5. Looks great! Love that front bumper.
  6. On the old ones it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. It helps quite a bit offroad, but not a lot on road. I always remove them from my old Loyale's an GL's. The newer ones like the 2000 sedan that he is talking about above, yes, it makes a huge difference. But not on an old lifted Subaru.
  7. They're actually called SOS Fab now.
  8. I have DD's many 2" lifted EA82 cars with no issues at all. And mine were never even camber correct like this one. But totally your call!
  9. I have a brand new unused 2" BOSS lift that I'd sell if you're interested. I'll let it go for what it cost me, $125 shipped and PayPal'd.
  10. STi drivetrain is damn tough. There are plenty of people out there running 600+ to them and running them down the track, with no real issues. The axles are the weak point, but I don't think at your power level you will have any issues.
  11. Not positive, but doesn't the traction control limit the amount of throttle? I would think you should turn it off. It won't spin a ton anyway with it on full diff lock.
  12. That might be something you have to test out. Is your car completely stock? You will find that if you're not launching at a high enough RPM then it will still bog down a bit. But if you do it right it will take off screaming and have you shifting pretty quickly. But yeah, if you turn the dial to full lock, and dump the clutch, it might spin slightly, but it will mostly just throw you back in the seat and GO! And the 6spd and R180 take it very well! For even better launching, it wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade your bushings to take some of the driveline slop out of it.
  13. I have had many 2" lifts on EA82 cars with no crossmember spacers. I never broke an axle on one and I abused them. The lifting of the front end on acceleration is caused by bad alignment after the lift. If you toe your tires out a little on each side, it will get rid of a lot of that problem and help with tire wear as well.
  14. I have put Outback struts which are pretty damn close to the same into a GT before. You do not need the body spacers. It can be a struggle to get them in, but they will go.
  15. I was always told those were kind of like silencers or something. We used to bypass them all the time without issue.
  16. Are you trying to install an aftermarket radio? If so, they sell adapter harnesses right on ebay.
  17. Sorry but the new search function is lacking. While this topic may be somewhat easy to find, many others aren't, so no harm in asking. This is after all a forum. And this isn't NASIOC. People should use the search function, but no need to be rude to someone looking for answers.
