Probably will have to cut it while it's in place, and then figure out where it needs to be, and tack a piece in to test it, then remove to fully weld.

I dropped my tranny 2.5" and have no issues at all. Enngages all gears perfect, no rubbing on anything.

Did you remove the plate around where the shifters come through? The non dual range cars have a sheet metal plate that covers some of the hole in the floor. It just screw on. Make sure you have removed that, and the hole in the flor will be bigger and allow for full movement.

Been quite a while since I updated this, and it has changed quite a bit. A few weeks ago, I installed BC coilovers, 05 Forester XT brakes, front and rear, and 18x7.5 RAYS G-Games wheels.

I always used to use snow tires off road, just because of limited size options. The biggest issue with them is weak side walls. Catch them on sharp rocks, and they puncture easy.

Many people don't check the heads for being warped, don't follow the torque procedure, or use head gaskets that don't hold up.

^What he said. Like I said, you need them put on so that the top of the strut is pushed towards the center of the car. You had them put on so they were pushed out away from the car. You had them backwards and that was your problem. Install them the other way and your camber will be much better!

You mounted them between the coil and the strut?? They are supposed to be bolted to the top of the strut mount, and then is bolted into the car. And this can be done with very simple hand tools. They are definitely built to be put in only one way, and when installed that way, your camber should be pretty much dead on, or as close as it ever was before the lift.I just bought one he had from a car he used it on. But you can get the stuff to do it from a car that came with that front end.Awesome. The body work reminds me a lot of my old BRAT. An EJ swap would be better for that.It will all bolt up yes. But if you wanted to put FI into the 87 you'd have to deal with the wiring as well.The engines are both EA82 engines, but the 87 is carb'd and the 91 is fuel injected. The 5spd dual range was available from 85-89. in 1990 when it became a Loyale, they did not come with them anymore.
