  3. My wife and I along with the same group of friends went to my family's camp in down east Maine this weekend. Had a great time, did a lot of fishing, had great weather and had a chance to do a little wheeling!! Here are some pics!
  4. Looks like a fun place. I like the river, which one is that?
  5. You couldn't have gotten a new window?? Are you going to make it look clean and like it's supposed to be that way?
  6. modifying a cars wiring harness to fit a different motor. In this case taking a EJ22 harness and modifying it to work with an EA82/81 wiring harness
  7. So I put the new chime module in and there is no change! So there is 45 bucks wasted. I have no clue what it could be and no clue how to fix it!! I guess maybe I need the car alarm remote, but from what I understand I need to get one and have it programmed at the dealer....well that's a problem because its not running and the closest dealer is 2 hours away!! Any more ideas? Thanks
  8. It actually bolts up to the lower radiator support so it can take some decent hits. I have tested mine plenty, and it has survived:grin:
  9. I wasn't talking about any spots with captive nuts. He was talking about stacking the crossmember spacers so I was talking about the through bolts, but you're right about ones with captive nuts!!!
  10. Mine came with a hand full of change and it only had 90,xxx miles:grin:
  11. I paid 150 for a complete parts car with a dual range!!
  12. yeah the alloys are the ones that are different. I have some that have a different off set than others
  13. Are they the 14" alloys?
  14. I'm all for making my own stuff!!! Sounds like a cool idea to me. Yes you are supposed to have a 15* angle on it so the camber isn't that bad. But I am running blocks without that and it's fine, but you will see a little more tire wear in the long run. We would all love pics of the project as well!!!
  15. I have stacked blocks before with out any issues. But make sure you use grade 8 bolts!!! Also, I hope you intend on spacing the struts down the same amount as the body

  17. There are diff off sets, I have a two full sets, 14" and 15" and a few other 14" spares and there are different off sets, especially with my 14 " alloys
  18. Red and black!! Also, I have the piece of interior trim you need. It's not perfect but it would cover that up and wouldn't look too bad with a good cleaning. Lemme know if you want it
  19. Are you sure the shifter is going down enough when you push down on it? I was having a similar problem in my car and I had bend my shifter up a little so it would clear the interior trim
  20. the 3593A is what fits on ALL EJ motors that I have ever worked on.
  21. Do you have any access to any newer Subarus? Like a GC Impreza? I've always wanted a light bar for the front, just something simple, light weight, and cheap! Lemme know!!
  22. I ordered the chime module, it should be here Friday, so we will see!!
  23. You will hardly notice if you remove the sway bar. I travel over 75 often with my lifted GL and notice no difference at all, it may even handle better!!! Plus it does help off road
  24. Man I wished I had pulled those from my parts Brat and you could have had them with the bed chrome!!!! Next time I know!
  25. Sounds good, and I assume it was the same problems I'm having? I think I will be driving by a dealership tomorrow so I will check it out! Thanks!!
