it wouldn't work in any of my cars so it wasn't a big deal.... I plan to get it...it is just a matter of when.

after putting that engine in there you just increased the reliability about a 1000x in my opinion. Now is when I wouldn't get rid or it.

its an ej18 gary.... which is the same style as the ej22's that you have.

I'm thinking it is the spring from the relief valve on the oil pump. I haven't had one infront of me in a while...

just remember....if you get a winch I highly recommend getting one of those thingys (can't remember the right name) that has a pulley at the end and you put the lead through it and bring it back to hook onto the car. (is snatch block right????) I believe they double the capicity of the winch when you have one of those. Something like that (don't mind me...was just at the Dr. and can't think right)

ever consider putting a 2" reciever hitch on the front so you can get a winch and have it removable? Food for thought.... What about turnsignals? are you going to powder coat or rattle can it?

I kinda like the brown myself....and that funky green they had back in the 80's was cool in my opinion. I once got a door for my 79 wagon from a doaner that as my dad called it "calf $hit green"...yeah that was dina ugly. Brown does hide the rust pretty well though.

There is a 99 legacy wagon here that would be absolutely perfect for you...the only problem is the 2000 miles between us. With that being said find a regular legacy (not an outback) with a stickshift (assuming that you want a stick) and you'll have the best (in my opinion) car that your money can buy. Legacy with a 2.2 and a 5 speed.

my 99 legacy with 58k does it too. wife ignores it and I shift to N. My parents have a 99 legacy also (actually identical...color and all) and it has 62k on it with new plugs, wires, all fluids, t-belt, etc. and it does it too. :-\ Somebody please solve this....

you get a card in the mail and on friday (or sat. if you don't come up on fri) you go to a special gate (I forget but I can clarify later) and you give the dude your card. He gives you a goodie bag of stuff and a window sticker that MUST be put on the car to go in and out. Last year we were on the end of one of the asian rows. If you tell me when you are going to leavt to get there I would meet you and be more than happy to walk you through the process. I had to dumb my way around last year so...I'll help ya if you want me to. I am taking Friday off of work so I am most likely going to head up early that day. Last year it rained so I held off going so early in the morning but a true diehard was there and sat there in the rain for 4 hours (nkx).

I think your wife will get bored. My wife gets bored and she is a little into the soobs. It makes for a really great time to BS aobut soobs and stuff like that but if someone isn't into older cars (car show type stuff) then i would say solo might be your best option.
