front passenger wheel seized up 1985 gl hi-lo
Sounds pretty indicative of a bearing to me... You said "bearing" just to be sure, you mean both, right? There are two per front wheel.

No headlights or dash lights, '85 Brat
Still starts? I would try testing for continuity among the ground straps. My Brat had the same problem. It ended up being a combination of: ground strap, blown fuse, and melted wire due to PO putting a 40amp fuse in there...

84 DL coupe US EA71?
Well, that answers my questions. Thanks guys. Guess this compressor won't work, then.

84 DL coupe US EA71?
Did we get the DL coupe with the EA71? Because I bought a compressor for my EA81 brat, and it is definitely an EA71 compressor. Guy I bought it from said it was an 84 DL... was I wrong to assume it was an EA81?

1978 Lucky BRAT
Sounds like a good score. On a side note, not to be mean, I have never seen a set of jump seats go for $400. Not all together, maybe the most superb examples of each part, though. Looking forward to pictures.

broke bolt, then made worse...
Yeah, I know what you mean, we need more people. There is a pretty cherry brown G2 Brat off of Royal Ln. I don't know if its a member or not. My Brat stays over by Scott mill and trinity mills, with my dad.

broke bolt, then made worse...
You must be the guy my dad talked to the other day with the brat in the garage. He told me the color and I knew it was you, lol. That would explain why I haven't seen you drive down Josey in awhile. Hope you get it worked out. cheers.

What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Covered my dash in some spare leather I had laying around. Turned out pretty good. You can still see how rough the dash is, because the leather conformed so well, lol. It's a sight better than it was before. This is just temporary till I invest some time in perfecting my other dash. Spots are from the windshield... don't mind the dust pan, haha

Just to be sure...

Just to be sure...
Yeah, mine doesn't have the double slotted pulley like that one. Bracket looks the same, though.

Just to be sure...
http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/pts/3781827021.html ...this will bolt into my 85 EA81 brat, right? My compressor has been locked up, and with my recent discovery of the R-12 abundance on Craigslist... I figured id give it a shot. Thanks for the help, as usual.

Also carried at O'Reilly's, and if you can't find them at all.... I know Honda passports have the same clips, so you could pull them from a yard.

'94 Loyale A/C Refrigerant Replacement / R-12 alternative?
Try Craigslist for R-12. Its always for sale around me. Around $15-$30 a can, depending on the seller. Then there are the people who want $120, lol.

More electrical issues
It was one of the wires running to the fuse (#5?) I believe the previous owner may have put a higher amp fuse causing the wire to burn at one point. I did have to pull back the casing, luckily the burned part was above the kick panel on the drivers side (why it fried there is beyond me) As far as not starting, it was the ignition module. I highly suggest changing yours if the coil tests fine. What exactly is your Brat doing?
