  1. Read your owners manual. Your brat has fully adjustable suspension already, you can lower the rear and raise the front using the stock suspension already installed. I vote against raising the front by adjusting the struts, cause it tweaks your camber and eats tires. -Brian
  2. Chances are that aluminum wont be going to the scrap. You might see it in the form of a Weber Adapter, or a lift kit on SJR's website -Brian
  3. Here are some interior shots of my old Brat when I owned it: http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo52 -Brian
  4. Sweet, another member from Sacramento! Nice looking Brat. -Brian
  5. In the gas will help it clean your injector.
  6. Yes I know, cause she's already here. However, kicking is not what she is doing to my butt
  7. Ok here is the deal... it will thin out your oil. It is not bad, but for a prolonged amount of time it isnt good. Run it for a day or a week, then do an oil change. Thats what I use it for. Seafoam is a detergent. It cleans... so its good for cleaning carbon diposits from within your engine. It will also thin the oil and may help with hydraulic lifters. Yes Pour it right into the throttlebody. You car wont like running on it, but it will clean the crap out of your carburator (if you have one) and your valves, piston, etc... And its never a bad idea in the gas. Wont harm anything. I preffer Marvels Mystery Oil over Seafoam. They are pretty much the same thing, however MMO is more of an oil. -Brian
  8. For the record, you were never "the cool guy". -Brian
  9. You would probably have gotten a tighter turning radius with the center diff unlocked. Oh, and try dumping the clutch at 4,000 Thats how you get the rear to really break loose. Your learning tho, nice video. Makes me miss my RX even more now. -Brian
  10. Read a book about it. I just looked over my finances and after I pay bills (the ones I can afford) i will be broke. Too broke to buy gas to get to Reno & back. -Brian
  11. Welcome to the wonderful world of 4x140 There is always a possibility of finding a set of stock 14" subaru rims at the junkyard... however, you would probably have to visit the yard every weekend until you are 60 and still may never find a set. There are stories of people getting lucky though. I think the Superlite will be your best bet, and i think 14's would look good on that car. Its tiny, and anything larger would look like your trying to "Pimp your FF1" -Brian
  12. I hope that is a typo and you mean wouldn't. Welding an oil pan with it still attatched to the motor would be a very stupid mistake. Like in, the last mistake you would ever make. Oil pans cant be that hard to obtain. Too bad you didnt post this a month ago. I just threw 2 perfectly good pans away. -Brian
  13. $40,000,000 -Brian p.s. its like $400 to build one
  14. I dont mind comming up to hang out, but im not feelin the whole wrenching thing. I do that 8hrs a day for a living. -Brian
  15. I really dont think those rims go with that car steve. Just too.... modern. the 14" alloys may look better. But I think classic Subaru rims would really set it off. -Brian
  16. me and a buddy pulled the studs from his tires. it was a pain in the rump roast. Used needle nose pliers to do it, and took a couple hours to do all 4 tires. -Brian
  17. Was playing with the video program. Made another video of just me and the toyota.
  18. I have erands that i need to run tomorrow too.
  19. No wheelin for me in the Legacy. And I stated above Sundays wont work for me... your guys yards aren't open :-\ -Brian
  20. Here is a website i made a LONG time ago, it may answer some questions http://www.subaru4wd.net/old/differences.html -Brian
  21. Mostly interior options. GL has a tachometer. GL has Dual Range 4WD (in the EA81 lineup) GL has better seats, better radio etc. Then there is the GL10 line that has power everything, and usually turbo (ea82 series) -Brian
  22. I live in between. Im probably as close to 50 as I am 80, however if we traveled up 50, it would take us to carson city, then its another hour to reno. Taking 80 is also alot faster as I can cruise at 85+, whereas 50 is 35+ past Icehouse road, and 2 lanes... twisty and im usually stuck behind a motor home or a 70yr old. -Brian
