  1. It usually says on the side of the fender ??/500 as the production number.
  2. I cant believe he did that to a Diamond Edition!!!! I believe there were only 500 of the Diamond Editions made. That is absurd!!!
  3. Sure just tighten up that thingy majiggy and you will be fine. Oh, and while your in there doin that, replace the turbo cause its shot :-p -Brian
  4. On the hatchback I have 27x8.5R14 Kumho Venture MT's. On the Wagon i have 27x8.5R14 Cooper Discoverer STT's Page is lookin good to keep things neat and clean I suggest making seperate pages for individuals. Or else sooner or later that gallery page is gonna get cluttered.
  5. Rollie, that is the same software I use. Check the video forum here to see some of the stuff Ive made. I recently started playing with Text Effects, and its amazing what this software can do. I also just got Architect, and layed out my 1st DVD. Im impressed with the capability of this software. Scott, i do have PLENTY of old pictures. Let me pull them up... BEFORE: AFTER: IN ACTION: 1984 GL Hatchback Stock 4spd dual range 4WD, EA81 with 32/36 Weber PK Davis 3/3 Lift Kit TWB custom front bumper TWB custom roof rack 3.9 rear LSD Prior to that, this was my wheeler: BEFORE: AFTER: IN ACTION: When i retired the wagon, alot of the parts went into the hatchback. Pretty much everything went into the hatch. Here it is in the hands of Subieman, Jibs & I: I do have video, its on YouTube. Check me out at http://www.youtube.com/subaru4wd -Brian
  6. You mean, it could have been cooler :-\ Nice save, but doesn't make for very interesting video. -Brian
  7. Keep the rake. Add sidepipes. Those rims fit the bill perfectly. I vote for 14" rim size.
  8. Awesome! Your website was far overdue for an update. Have you done any DVD editing in the past? I got some software that puts out a great show when edited properly. Way easier to use then Adobe Premier. Wouldnt mind helping you if you need it. I dont have a lifted sube anymore, so cant contribute. But will definatly be paying attention to the progress. -Brian
  9. Read your owners manual. Your brat has fully adjustable suspension already, you can lower the rear and raise the front using the stock suspension already installed. I vote against raising the front by adjusting the struts, cause it tweaks your camber and eats tires. -Brian
  10. Chances are that aluminum wont be going to the scrap. You might see it in the form of a Weber Adapter, or a lift kit on SJR's website -Brian
  11. Here are some interior shots of my old Brat when I owned it: http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo52 -Brian
  12. Sweet, another member from Sacramento! Nice looking Brat. -Brian
  13. Yes I know, cause she's already here. However, kicking is not what she is doing to my butt
  14. Ok here is the deal... it will thin out your oil. It is not bad, but for a prolonged amount of time it isnt good. Run it for a day or a week, then do an oil change. Thats what I use it for. Seafoam is a detergent. It cleans... so its good for cleaning carbon diposits from within your engine. It will also thin the oil and may help with hydraulic lifters. Yes Pour it right into the throttlebody. You car wont like running on it, but it will clean the crap out of your carburator (if you have one) and your valves, piston, etc... And its never a bad idea in the gas. Wont harm anything. I preffer Marvels Mystery Oil over Seafoam. They are pretty much the same thing, however MMO is more of an oil. -Brian
  15. You would probably have gotten a tighter turning radius with the center diff unlocked. Oh, and try dumping the clutch at 4,000 Thats how you get the rear to really break loose. Your learning tho, nice video. Makes me miss my RX even more now. -Brian
  16. Read a book about it. I just looked over my finances and after I pay bills (the ones I can afford) i will be broke. Too broke to buy gas to get to Reno & back. -Brian
  17. Welcome to the wonderful world of 4x140 There is always a possibility of finding a set of stock 14" subaru rims at the junkyard... however, you would probably have to visit the yard every weekend until you are 60 and still may never find a set. There are stories of people getting lucky though. I think the Superlite will be your best bet, and i think 14's would look good on that car. Its tiny, and anything larger would look like your trying to "Pimp your FF1" -Brian
  18. I hope that is a typo and you mean wouldn't. Welding an oil pan with it still attatched to the motor would be a very stupid mistake. Like in, the last mistake you would ever make. Oil pans cant be that hard to obtain. Too bad you didnt post this a month ago. I just threw 2 perfectly good pans away. -Brian
  19. $40,000,000 -Brian p.s. its like $400 to build one
  20. I dont mind comming up to hang out, but im not feelin the whole wrenching thing. I do that 8hrs a day for a living. -Brian
  21. I really dont think those rims go with that car steve. Just too.... modern. the 14" alloys may look better. But I think classic Subaru rims would really set it off. -Brian
