  1. Dont think ANY RX's ever came with Cruise Control.
  2. It would normaly be right here: As you can see, I removed mine to install my boost gauge too. Not sure what his panel looks like, but if you remove it, you will find the plug for the defrost switch. its the only switch that is on that panel from the factory, so it should be the only plug back there. Just wire it up to a toggle switch and your golden. -Brian
  3. Nope. All turbo Subaru's have the MAFs in the same spot as all non-Turbo Subaru's. I have heard of people moving their MAF's so they are between the INtercooler and Intake, however as you can see in these pictures... there is no room at all to mount my MAF. Maybe if I had a front mount and a ton of pipe, but not with a top-mount. -Brian
  4. Yeah im sure it was custom made. Not sure what the history of it is.
  5. I installed this thing a few months ago. Just now got around to taking some pix. I bought this setup from a guy on the LegacyCentral board. came with the hoses, i used the stock Legacy Bypass Valve (after some slight modifications. So far its a pretty nice setup. Im still running stock boost. It dropped from 7psi to about 5psi at max boost. I have a boost controller I have yet to install. Can't really notice the difference with the Auto Gearbox sucking all my power, but I know its doing some good. -Brian
  6. HIGH COMPRESSION DUH!!!! They make bigger booms when they go
  7. Better carry some 50 gallon drums of fuel from the east coast. The prices out west are rediculous. Have you seen the price of gas in San Fransisco lately? Saw on the news one station was up to $4.12 for regular unleaded. It'll cost you $2904 just to get across the bay bridge
  8. Yeah, ive only owned 1 and it failed. So thats a 100% failure rate for me. Anyhow, was just curious cause all you do is talk sh*t about them.
  9. GD: How many EA82T's have you owned?
  10. Check eBay. That website I posted was just for refference, I wouldnt expect to pay that much for GR2's. Also check out your local junkyards. GR2's are a popular upgrade for almost all Subaru's, and when OEM struts wear out most shops recommend them as an OEM replacement. I found a set at my local junkyard, and walked out with them for under $40. -Brian
  11. Fixed it for ya. Good luck finding one. Kostamojen got extremely lucky when he snagged his.
  12. Not sure where you read that: http://www.importperformance.com/store/341065 -Brian
  13. GR2's up front with RX springs would be a cheap, and very stiff combo. Hope you like uncomfortable rides to the mountain tho. And invest in a LSD cause stiffer suspension will raise a tire real quick, then you wont be making it through that ATV trail you need to. -Brian
  14. YAY SATURDAYS!!! Now I just wish i werent so broke. I have to take a vacation with the family while my sister is in town. $500 trip to Disneyland in 2 weeks, and I have about.... $4.00 saved up Although my roomate was talking the other day about getting a xmas tree. Maybe i can talk him into driving up there and we can do a tree run of some sort. -Brian
  15. Also, if you look under your screen name and information, you will see a "PHOTOS" link. The USMB supplys their members with space to host images, you can put them in your photo album. -Brian
  16. I was confused. it is the Black Diamond edition which is rare. And only 100 were made. -Brian
  17. Ugh... who's that dork in the australian hat in that last pic? those pix bring back memories. -Brian
  18. It usually says on the side of the fender ??/500 as the production number.
  19. I cant believe he did that to a Diamond Edition!!!! I believe there were only 500 of the Diamond Editions made. That is absurd!!!
  20. Sure just tighten up that thingy majiggy and you will be fine. Oh, and while your in there doin that, replace the turbo cause its shot :-p -Brian
  21. On the hatchback I have 27x8.5R14 Kumho Venture MT's. On the Wagon i have 27x8.5R14 Cooper Discoverer STT's Page is lookin good to keep things neat and clean I suggest making seperate pages for individuals. Or else sooner or later that gallery page is gonna get cluttered.
  22. Rollie, that is the same software I use. Check the video forum here to see some of the stuff Ive made. I recently started playing with Text Effects, and its amazing what this software can do. I also just got Architect, and layed out my 1st DVD. Im impressed with the capability of this software. Scott, i do have PLENTY of old pictures. Let me pull them up... BEFORE: AFTER: IN ACTION: 1984 GL Hatchback Stock 4spd dual range 4WD, EA81 with 32/36 Weber PK Davis 3/3 Lift Kit TWB custom front bumper TWB custom roof rack 3.9 rear LSD Prior to that, this was my wheeler: BEFORE: AFTER: IN ACTION: When i retired the wagon, alot of the parts went into the hatchback. Pretty much everything went into the hatch. Here it is in the hands of Subieman, Jibs & I: I do have video, its on YouTube. Check me out at http://www.youtube.com/subaru4wd -Brian
  23. You mean, it could have been cooler :-\ Nice save, but doesn't make for very interesting video. -Brian
  24. Keep the rake. Add sidepipes. Those rims fit the bill perfectly. I vote for 14" rim size.
  25. Awesome! Your website was far overdue for an update. Have you done any DVD editing in the past? I got some software that puts out a great show when edited properly. Way easier to use then Adobe Premier. Wouldnt mind helping you if you need it. I dont have a lifted sube anymore, so cant contribute. But will definatly be paying attention to the progress. -Brian
