last winter,my cable scared the sh*& out of me.driving to work then all of a sudden this very loud screech!! i was told because it was so cold out(single digit temps) the speedo cable being just a very long spring.any amount of moisture froze an caused the noise or something like that(was awhile since i was told this,so i might of forgotten something) did your speedo needle bounce/shake some.next time you drive an get the noise.keep it at a steady mph and watch needle.(if it isn't the cable causing the noise then it should stay even with whatever speed your at.if it is your cable then needle will bounce an shake some.

maybe speedo cable? disconnect at trans and run some oil down it,see what happens btw,how's your knocking/ticking? i got my ticking taken care of(loose plugs) but now when i start her up after sitting over-night she knocks untill she warms up.almost sounds like piston slap.but sound seems to be coming from back side of engine :-\ Hmmm...

you'd be surprised how well those disposable cameras come out.you could get some of those too.they even come with a flash for a'lil more $

probably open diffs,they don't transfer power to the wheels that don't slip to well. as far as abs light coming on.system prob though there was a prob with the brakes cause two wheels were spinning and bk two weren't.i've had it happen when i got high centered last winter.

the j/y in the next town over,they want about $25. per strut assembly. as far as tire size,i think you could squeeze in 28's if you do some trimming and hitting.

i found out that one of my sending units was acting up(when i first picked up the car) guage was working fine then (boom).dropped to e,then about acouple miles down the road,guage comes back up.found out that the contact strip on unit had a dead spot.

man i wish you had a lay-away being out of work sucks.granted i do have the skid-plate from 91loyale.but yours looks so much tougher then stock one.(which it is,i sure)

sounds like torque bind.did you change the trans fluid? i haven't had the prob but i have read that sometimes changing the fluid to new helps.

is it gonna be a universal cone filter? i did the universal cone deal,i used the stock intake tube and only thing i noticed was a change in throttle response.(an sound) $50 bucks+throttle response and sound=i was happy with it. here's a pic
