can't wait to see how it came out.(i still need to get my struts.) is it popping on paved roads or offroad? if it does it just when your offroading, maybe mudrat or someone knows of a way of making quick disconnect endlinks on the swaybar. as far as daily driving with swaybar disconnected all the time,as long as you don't mind the extra body roll (i believe)
  7. gonna have to do that.did you put the tape on the len's themselves or inline with the lens (say on the grill) i take it the dark road was a level one?
  8. that's how i've done it,never had a prob.slides right out.

man,the pic is really deceiving, looks like it's less then a foot deep.when it comes to ruts,i try not to follow them.
  10. bump... maybe i'll just stand about 20ft away and aim at about waist high.(3-4ft)
  11. o'goody.i just found out on the map of burke mountion, there's what looks like to be a really long fire road. lets hope it'll be open
  12. would an arc welder do the job? or should it be a mig?,tig?
  13. i know what you mean fulled up my legacy the other day, needed a'lil over 12gallons.cost me like $35. bucks for 89 octane http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=1&S=12&Z=19&X=337&Y=6180&W=1&qs=%7cburke%7cvt%7c (click on topo,to see where pipeline is on map) in an eariler post,it was mentioned about meeting up at a parking lot that is in a pic i posted.the road it's on,i found out leads to some class 6 roads not to mention a pipe line that looks like it goes on for some distance.can't really tell by lookin at the pic,but it looks like it'd make for some interesting offroading.
  14. you mean something like this (not mine,i wish )
  15. man i must have a cheap camera, doesn't even have a bumper it sounded like it was a fun time,to bad i missed it.hope the Northern New England/NY,etc. Meet??? turns out to be the same.
  16. now granted it's not a k&n filter, but it's similar.(cleanable) i think i paid about $50 bucks for the filter and adapter plate that was connected to the maf. only thing i noticed was a diff in the sound, specially when i really got on the gas.Oooo i did end up using more gas(think i just wanted to hear the noise) still own the filter, but the abs system is in the way in my 94 legacy.i'd have to modify or buy aftermarket tube. thought i'd add my 2 cents.
  17. bribe her or do what i did,set the cam up on something that's the same height as tail pipe. just make sure cam's not in direct line of exhaust. see
  18. glad to hear your subie passed inspection, also glad to hear your coming. ok so who else is in again??
  19. i agree, nothing worse then the sound of those fart cannons going down the street.my opinion is that the sound from the exhaust should be felt in your chest hopfully that's how mines gonna sound. btw=those side pipes are way to cool
  20. you'll need a stubby phillips screw driver to take em out.then the trim molding should just pop out,as long as you removed the top two screws at the top. mine's broken so i just have to remove the top two
  21. as far as i know,spacers between where the suspension,trans mount,etc
  22. what you trying to say we're LOoPY us subie owners are a rare breed I agree with that statement.
  23. i just took a look at the map of pine barrens i got from terra serve.omg,i can't believe the amount of trails they have there :slobber::slobber::slobber:
  24. welcome aboard by the way, since your from vermont....... you know of any legal roads to four wheel on in the e.burke area? bunch of us is going there for some camping and what not and the maps i'm looking at are a couple years old.
  25. so wednesday when you go for your inspection.make sure you have your stock tires on with cinder blocks in the back an for good measure air down just a bit. besides the height of the bumper, will everything else pass? i always worry when it comes to inspections. good luck
