make sure the vac hose is on the unit in the engine comp adn the nylon buttons are on the clutch & brake pedals

Should be fine, do you own the trailer? U-haul wold not do it. Again you as the driver have to leave enough space to safely stop and control your rig.

I bet it would bolt right in. If you can put them side be side to check that would be ideal.

90-98 will work. the 90-94 will require you to put a 95 intake manifold on and work around the EGR if your engine has one.

might have air in the system. Where is the temp gauge once its hot?

hg is there black oily stuff in the overflow bottle? if so hg are leaking

Drop the 2.2 into the Outback when the 2.5 goes.

96 2.2 is the better engine. The 95 should also have the same 2.2 unless it's an early 96 with auto trans. The 2.5 DOHC Head Gaskets fail often. 2.2 is much better and easier to work on. Don't take my word, pull a spark plug out of each engine. By the time your done you'll have your answer.

Subarus will idle high when cold 1200-1800 and the drop down to 800-500 or so. There are some difference in Auto or manual trans. Is the CEL on or have you checked it for codes even if the light is off. IAC controls idle speed.

Resistance check of the sensor will give you some info on it's condition. I've pulled the air intake and sometimes the throttle body for more room.

get a new hose as well.

Adjust the bottom frame hook in a bit. Take off the middle plastic cover that goes over the hook. Loosen the two 12mm bolts that secure the hook Take a block of wood put it against the outside of the hook and hit the 2x4 with a hammer (hard) You will be able to move the hook in about a 1/4" Tighten the bolts Put it back together Enjoy no rattle

It does happen, and more likely if the engine has been overheated. Fix the coolant leak and make sure the system is properly filled and burped. If you are still loosing coolant you should see it in the exhaust or bubbles in the overflow.
