  1. No, not enough reason. But when it grenades on you in a few hundred miles, then it will be. I really hope it doesnt, but you all know the bad luck I've had with used EA82T's :-\
  2. Its a XT6. The belt tensioner is totally different than the EA stuff. The bolt that holds the pulley needs to be loosened, then you can start backing the adjusting nut out.
  3. Arf arf And thanks for donating.
  4. The idle problem could be 2 things. The IAC or the temp sensor. The IAC is a silver cylinder thats hooked up to the intake inlet hose and manifold. This can be cleaned, but has to be removed and disassembled. The temp sensor is real close to the thermostat housing and gets corroded easily. The wires also have a tendency to harden up and get brittle. Most of us have cut the wires back and made a new connection to the sensor. And if you havent already registered, you need to at - http://subaruxt.com/forum/index.php
  5. To answer your question.....I dont think its possible :-\

  9. Why bother screwing around with new glass? There tons of whole mirrors in the wrecking yards. I probably have several in a box.
  10. For which group? You need to be more specific (and post in the correct forum). The XT/XT6/SVX group is set to go in June 26th-27th. http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10207&sid=a10d8fa35ad6890caeafd1724ced6fba As far as I know, theres no other Old School meet going to the Dragon. There is a New Gen meet that usually goes, but I have no clue about that. Look it up on Nasioc if your interested in that. Theres also local groups that go.
  11. Welcome to the Board! There is a dedicated site for the XT (or Alcyone) fans. Its http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1&sid=230f82ae140967de3052a23bb0d3c6ef It does sound like the alternator is having issues tho. If you have a meter, I would check the output on it. Oh yeah, when you register there, make sure you post pics
  12. As far as I know, alot of different years/models will work. But to get a definitive answer, post in the New Gen forum.
  13. That might be a EU spec turbo. One of the guys from the other side (of the pond) will probably chime in to confirm.

It would probably be cheaper and easier to go with a straight axle and install a electric locker in that. Gee, I wonder who did that? (No, it wasnt me)
  15. Are you talking about the e-brake cable? If so, you need to pull the lever back a little bit so you have some slack and then use a pair of pliers and pull the end off the lever.
  16. You need a complete window frame to install a vent visor. How do you expect to attach it?
  17. Turbone replied to Uberoo's topic in Off Road
And dont forget, the gas tank is right above your head And you will need about 6-7 cans of brake cleaner too.
  18. I had a 92 Mazda 2600i 4x4 ext cab. It was all import, no Ford in it. And it was the most reliable rig I've ever owned. I bought it with around 112k on it and had to replace the OEM clutch at around 160k. I had a CV go bad on the drivers side front axle (its a 2 piece job), but other than that, it was a great runner. It even made a couple of trips up to Evans Crk with the HP and had no problems on the hard stuff. I traded it when it was about to hit 200k, straight across, for my Hatch. I still miss that truck :-\
  19. Oh god, its got a Saturn 1.9 in it Thanks god for gearing
  20. Have you tried to pinpoint the leak exactly? The only place in the area you claim are the filler tube for the front diff. That does not take AT fluid, only gear oil. The tranny dipstick is on the other side. Theres a vac line that runs from that side that goes up to the intake, but its not supposed to have any fluid in it. I suggest you check the cooler lines the run from the drivers side of the tranny to the radiator.

I know a guy that did that to his 83 GL Wagon. He used fern leaves and it turned out really nice. He even thru in some little bunnies
  22. I use a sawsall.

I've been wanting to repaint my Hatch in the new digi camo, in urban color scheme.
  25. Hey Kaz, can you re-host the pics? I've been re-directing people here and they need pics.
