With enough money, you can get anything -
Ok, now that you have it, what are you going to do with it? Are you going to lift it? Are you going to be the first (I think) Bona Fide "Female" Hatch Patroller? Come on Come on

Digital to analog gauge change?

I have 2 of these digidashes. Both from AT's, but they were 2wd. There wont be a light to tell you its in 4wd, but you might be able to rig up something for a light from the switch. I'm in Buckley, Wa. -
When you try and start the car with a low battery, the wipers will try and come on. Dont ask me why, they just do. Mick, your lucky it didnt crunch you

horribly wobbly steering wheel
Turbone replied to archemitis's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
When was the last time the wheels were balanced, and how old are they? If this isnt the issue, than the axle has to be the problem. It happened on my hatch, even after rotating the tires, replacing the lower ball joint, I finally replaced the axle and WaLa!, no more wobble. Btw, the axle "felt" fine. -
Who sold this GL-10 Turbo sedan?

Or in several pieces for that matter -
Well, from a previous post, it looks like the latest batch is flawed. Maybe someone should contact Accel? I have a yellow one on my Hatch, and it was on it when i got it. Its at least a couple years old.

I looked in the 84 FSM, and it shows 2 lines in front and both are vacume lines. Try hooking it up to the intake manifold. Maybe look around for a open port on the intake manifold. If it doesnt run good, it may have to go to the air cleaner. There are a couple of fitting on the underside of the aircleaner base that have lines from the carb/manifold. The book has 4 to 5 different applications for the US market. The hexagon shaped object is the anti-dieseling switch.

When you rebuilt the carb, is there a gasket that seperates the 2 halfs? I ask because I've torn down other carbs, but not a Hitachi. It kind of sounds like there is fuel going somewhere where it shouldnt be when you slosh it inside. If there was a break/misalignment of some kind on the gasket, this might happen. Or maybe the screws that hold the halfs together are not tight. I've only had one Soob that had a Hitachi on it, the rest are Weber and FI.

Yea, I think the clutch itself was my problem, it was stock. -
I thought the meet and greet at Alkii was this weekend? That would make it the 3rd, not the 10th. Lets get this date straight.

Scooby, this is on the 10th. The meet and greet at Alkii is this weekend, the 3rd. Is it not? -
Way to go! Glad to know I'm not the only one who's had the experience of being a EMT in Wa state. I was a volunteer Fireman/EMT for Bonney Lake for several years (92-99) before I had to give it up. Thats one helluva test too, and you did pretty good, congrats. Who's your sponsor?

I burned up 2 clutches because it was a EA81 (not T), not meant for Turbos. And I was using a 4spd tranny. 2 row rads were never stock for Subaru, it will be hard to find in the JY. I'm not sure about the diff between the flywheels, but I'm positive there will be. If you are going to have 2 turbos on this car, do not use a EA81 4spd. It just isnt going to work. Put in a 5spd D/R, and have Jerry make you the shifter kit. It looks completly stock (EA81). Why are you going to put a Volvo IC in if you dont even know what it looks like? -
