  1. Going southbound on I-5 today in traffic. Its a EA82 wagon, red with pugs on it. Doesnt sound unsual except , the choice of color for the trim, etc. The pugs were painted a bright yellow, the wing on the back and front grill yellow, the roof rack was yellow, and I'm sure there was a few other items too. I just couldnt catch it all cause I was over 2 lanes and passing. It actually didnt look bad at all with this color scheme, and it certainly stood out. Does anyone know it/owner?
  2. Hi "Bob". After you replace the belts and if it still wont start, I would take a look at the disty. Could be the Ign Mod is bad.
  3. For the price and shipping, it can be made by anyone here (with basic mech skills). Subaru Tex made one, and I think he has the plans for it on his web site. After reading the feedback on the Ebay Seller, I dont think I'd be willing to do business with him. To many negs.
  4. Damn, thats got to hurt. I agree on the top removal, what can you loose? Straighten/stiffen the A pillars, clean it up and make a soft top for it.
  5. I may just have to go to pull all your butts out of the mud:lol: Altho I have no idea whats going to be going on in April for me yet (possible back surgery)
  6. The pattern you are looking for is 4x140. Sorry, Nissan wont fit.
  7. Most likely. Did the same thing on my 86 Turbo wagon.
  8. Mine are on the highest setting.
  9. The Fox looks like he's in disguise. And whats that look for?
  10. I do have more. 1/8in isnt much, and he can probably get more by taking some of the stuff out of the back:D
  11. Just make sure the hoses you use dont have holes and they make a tight connection.
  12. It was hard finding this thread again, and it took me a few days to actually get out, move the Hatch and pull out the measuring tape. 14.25" of diff clearance. This is with 3" lift, 28" Superswampers, EA82 adjustable rear shocks and the torsion bar racheted.
  13. Signs of a bad air/vacume leak. Use a can of starter fluid and spray small shots around where you made changes. A change in idle will give you the location.
  14. The rotation of the rotor is CCW, and plug firing order is 1324. Alot of people have made the mistake on the disty rotation, me included.
  15. Do the blinkers work? I would suspect the stop checker myself.
  16. It says what the ratio is on a tag on the back of the diff. It also will have in big letters - LSD. Thats if you have it.
  17. Hey Soobme, can you make a brushguard like the one on the EA82 Sedan?
  18. Well, your all right with the belts. It sounds like they are installed right. I think the problem could be the cat, typical symptoms. Feel the end of the exhaust pipe with someone in the car giving it the gas. You can also pull the O2 sensor out to test, but that can sometimes be a bear. If you need to have the car inspected yearly, you may have to have a new one installed.
  19. You will need to have the diff match the tranny ratio, should be 3.9.
  20. http://www.usmb.net/repair/?CurrentDirectory=FOLDER_3f29b58f50d9b8.15492800/&FileType=Article&File=ARTICLE_3f29b750a92b88.77574552.art This is basically the same swap, just need to get the pedal box, clutch cable, tranny xmember and strut caps. Is it 2wd or 4wd?
  21. Personally, I only rib, raz and cajole people that I know well and have been on the board for a while (at least over a year). That way I know how much I can get away with:D Personal attacks are a nono. If you want to question a persons reasons for what they are doing, do it with a PM or email.
  22. Are you missing any rubber gromets in the firewall? All the seals around the doors and windows look good? Check underneath the car itself and look for holes in the floorpan also.
  23. So? Dont keep your finger crossed, but someday it could come back. So in the meantime, you will probably see alot of threads like this:brow:
  24. Cool Mick, it looks like I wont be the only one. Altho you only have to replace the belts, I have to replace the engine. But I'm not complaning:D Mine is coming at a slightly lower price, but not much. With delivery, its $30 more.
  25. Lets not go there, ok? He has one more chance to make things right. After that, who knows.
