Loyale2.7Turbo
JesZek is alive and well, I just received a message from him last night. As you can see, this thread has been merged with the one asking about him. He said he plans on posting more in the future, but I have no idea what he has been up to.

2003 Forester strong gasoline smell
Turbone replied to ziggy82323's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXTake it to a different mechanic. Fuel willer never leak out the headgaskets but antifreeze can. It could be a clamp loose as stated or a rubber fuel line.

Gages going bonkers then power loss
Turbone replied to TWIST's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXIf the alternator cant keep the battery charged, the car wont run. I suggest removing the alternator and take it to a local parts store (O'Reillys, Autozone etc) and have it tested.

I bought a mc for a 92 Leg SS around 3yrs ago. The part isnt even in the Rockauto system any more. I cant recall if it was ABS or not, but being 92 it may not have been. I dont recall if I plugged a port or what. CRS and being old etc

Bad timing for heater to die
Co worker is driving a 92 Leggy thats seen better days, belongs to her brother. I try and help her out when I can, replacing the rear struts with some from the wrecking yard. Now her heater quit working, right when temps were in the 20's. All fuses/relays check out, no power to the blower. I suspect the switch is bad.

Subiefest 2015
From what I heard, it was a disaster this year. No organization, DJ left before awards were given out and they didnt do that until almost everyone had left at the end of the day. Auto X was a joke, there were even people on the track while it was hot.

My 89 RX
Drove the car out of my shop without having to adjust the clutch. Drove flawlessly during the 250mi RT last weekend. Clutch still needs some miles to be broken in yet, but it pulls pretty good in 4th and 5th now......no more slipping! Brakes are also much better now, feel like I have much better stopping power.
