The starter is not on the other side, its the same. If you swap a EA82 5spd in, you will need to change the strut rod plates. They are part of the front trans mounting points.

Poor Man Run

I might unlock this later, but I doubt it I cleaned things up, there will be no more talk of the incident (tickets). Post your pics and keep it clean or the hammer comes down. -
I made a airbox for my CAI out of a computer case. Very stout metal and its a good size to work with.

You need to start a thread in the Wanted forum then.

I thought you installed air suspension for a sec there, then I saw the jack :-p Welcome to USMB, theres a few SVX owners here (me included).

I saw a pair of these mounted on capt_r's EJ swapped wagon. He even has A/C (condenser) so they are slim enough to fit. These will be getting installed on my swap when I replace the rad soon.

How much can my car be worth? (swapped 86 gl coupe)
Turbone replied to MilesFox's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
You need to have patience to work on them. My lawnmower is around 20yrs old and has a B&S engine on it. I leave it out during the winter, covered with just a plastic recycle bin. Come spring when its time to mow, I give the fuel bulb 3 pumps and usually on the 3rd pull it starts. I've never touched the carb, just clean the filter once a year. I think I'm only on the 2nd sparkplug and 3rd blade. And there are many race cars that still run carbs on them. -

You actually went out wheeling without knowing how to fix your own car? And in a 2wd? I usually dont give people grief for their mistakes, but I think this is a winner.

85GL Manual with torque bind (ea82)
Turbone replied to thatdirtykid's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
There should be no torque bind while in fwd. One of the ways to get it is if you are driving on the dry street in 4wd (dont do this). The other is mis-matched tires. Theres also no duty c solenoid on a MT. -

how much limted weight for tow boat.
Turbone replied to Suba_GL_87's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
You really wont know what to get if you dont know the weight of the boat. and trailer. Its called tongue weight and it determines what size hitch you need. -
