  1. Dont waste your money, seriously. You will blow out the ring landings etc once you do those things. I just use the copper spray sealant and use the Fel-Pro Permatorque gaskets.
  2. Depends on how many miles the EA tranny has on it. I'll be finding out sometime in spring, my tranny has over 200K on it.
  3. Seriously, you have been here long enough to know how to use the search function
  4. Welcome to the USMB, thats a nice XT-T you have. Just a little warning in advance........you might get flamed for putting a Honda wing on a Subaru. Oh, and make sure you visit http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1&sid=7930b6b5fd81f5cbb7f548e7cf45eb87
  5. Does it have the external VR? If not, it may need one.
  6. Cool, my foggy memory came thru for once!
  7. Is the guys name Brian? If it is, I know him and the car. He's had it for quite some time. He brought it buy right after he did the camo paint job. Is it a fern/leaf camo with little bunnys hiding here and there? If you get it, I have a windshield that will prob fit. N/M, after looking at it again I remember him doing the back windows as well. These are clear.
  8. The ad does not state if its AWD or FWD, just that its a AT. I would call before going to look, unless it doesnt matter to you.
  9. Pictures! Never make a new thread about work done without giving us pics Besides, I would like to see how you mounted the injectors.
  10. Your welcome to come by my place and we can time it. Might be able to look at some of the electrical also.
  11. Theres nothing in TX that can compare to our wheeling, sorry :-\ Holy lack of punctuation Batman!
  12. I would rather remove a sparkplug before dealing with the @#&$** timing belt covers
  13. Pull the #1 sparkplug out and rotate the engine till air blows out the cylinder (use your finger to feel), there should also be marks on the flywheel. That will put it at TDC. Remove the disty cap and look where the rotor is. It needs to be real close to the #1 plug wire/terminal.
  14. Just need to stay out of Seattle and off the Passes during Winter. Wash your underbody about every 2 weeks just to be safe.
  15. Seeing how you corrected the blasphemy, I removed the pic. This should be a reminder to everyone.....if you post a pic of a embarrassing nature, I will save it and keep until its the right time to repost it I'm not immune either
  16. Have you contacted Scott, the guy who makes the lift?
  17. I LMAO when I saw you wearing that I think that look came when I told you it was hunting season.
  18. It helps to disconnect the bottom of the shock and if it has a swaybar, to remove that also. That way the control arm can drop more and give the axle more articulation.
  19. If you sucked the tank dry, its a good chance that the filter on the end of the fuel pump is clogged. The fuel pump/sending unit is on the top of the tank on the passenger side. There should be a metal cover on the floorboard with 4 screws for access. Pinch off the fuel lines, unplug the connection and remove the bolts for the top plate. It all should pull out as a unit with the filter sock at the end.
  20. You would know by now if it did any damage, but I would keep a eye on it. Have you put anti-freeze in yet?
  21. Glad you could make it, thanks for coming. I think I've finally thawed out now :-p
  22. While doing my donuts my old sloshed real bad and it puked out all over the engine and engine compartment. I went to a car wash today to pressure wash everything and the place was closed...........it was all frozen up
