  1. NO it doesn't do much good, and you need co-solvents use 10% ethanol blend, corn burner!!

  3. it's a "feature" we don't want our customers to run out of fuel needlesly, so we provide them with a light that comes on when there's about 1 1/2 -2 galons in the tank

  8. just disconnect the inner cv joint then read the manual, shouldn't be too hard the hardest part may be finding the correct seal, use the number on it to cross reference
  9. 2 git r houm the parts car has a good reman ea82 axle and I want to put it ntha ea81 to drive it home 300+miles it's one of those "MilesFox" type of adventure
  10. what does it take to swap a front ea82 axle in to a ea81? given spline count is the same is there a writeup somewhere? no search luck

  12. ea82 dam thing acted as if it had a rev limiter after 6,000 when I wanted it to rev faster I have held it at redline rwd lo going up a muddy hill for minutes, no problem from engine
  13. yeah, that thing is to cool the motor did you get a lifetime warranty? you may need it
  14. or pull the ecm fuse install a "real" oil pressure, coolant temp, and boost/vac guage
  15. seems like I work on mine every day, always something to do, I guess that's a reason to drive what I do
  16. mine enjoys the heated garage, cruising at 3,000 + rpm, using the secondarys shifting at 4,000 + rpm, and not using too low of a gear helps when it has the ea82 d/r 5spd, exhaust, intake and carb
  17. install a real guage, and replace the sending unit
  18. that's what you get when you are on a BAD parts website mpfi was available in 86 xt
  19. was it just a spark, or was there welding involved, divots and burn marks? a spark takes about 5-15 amps communication is crucial
  20. I have tocuhed one in a jy I have driven one, tried to buy both still looking for a 91 5spd 4x4 turbo I could also take a 5spd 4x4 fi snow king
