  1. i paid $200 for my turbo back exhaust on my rx under the table, so to speak, and then i paid like $250 or $300 for the cat back on my impreza. so $175 sounds like a good price for an exhaust if it is done right, just make sure it doesnt look like crap before you leave.
  2. not to offend anyone, but i dont like the twe headers. i think they are kinda fugly and too complicated looking, granted, every sound clip ive heard of a suby with the twe set up sounds like an inline four powered car. eh, im just going to build my own header and go from there. on a side note, anyone know why the stock manifold is a pipe in a pipe?? i just cut apart one of my spares to try to use a section of it for something and noticed that there is a much smaller pipe running inside of the cross over section of the pipe.
  3. i wonder why they choose to ignore some emails and respond to others, i still have received no response from kyb.
  4. oops, i just caught my typo, it was $250, but still much less than the jeep set. sorry for the confusion.
  5. thats why im telling people to send them emails, im hoping that if they are paying attention, they might at least respond or possible do a limite production run. it doesnt hurt to spend 5 minutes to send em an email.
  6. umm, what? i paid $150 for my borla headers, new, from borla. then again, you also quoted a jeep header, slighty alot more complicated than a subaru header.
  7. that car is hot, i was very close to bidding on it, but i have no way of getting it home or storing, lol. good luck with it and take lots of pics of that thing.
  8. thats fine and dandy if you want an equal length header and done care about how its sounds afterwords. me personally, i dont want to loose the rumble that you get with tuned length. i think i am actually going to try to make my own set of headers for the car. i just got a welder today and im tracking down the bends ill need, so i should have something soon enough. i hope.
  9. that ha crossed my mind as far as getting a heae for my rx.
  10. i tried it a while back, never got a response. kinda sucked, cause i like the design they have for the ej engines, i was looking at the ej22 header they have, looks like what i want to make for my rx. if i get something like that , ill be happy to get copies made for anyone that wants one.
  11. i would but one if you can make it plug and play and get rid of the maf.
  12. now if we could get some of the autox crowd in on this. i wondering why they cant put the agx internals into the strut bodies for what they already make.
  13. for everyone that wants performance suspension. go here, send a message, let em know we still like to make our cars handle better. tell them that you would like a set of kyb agx shocks for our cars. i think if we get thier attention, we might be able to at least score a limited production of some sweet shocks. http://www.kyb.com/contact/ peace tim c.
  14. kinda wish i had more notice, i mighta been able to ge off of work. had i known sooner, i woulda come down with john.

  16. just be careful, i think the torque rating is like 11-15 ft/lbs
  17. try the yard in smithsburg, ellwood grim's auto exchange. the place is huge and has a lot of old subies.
  18. everything will just drop in, a few have done this already and i dont think they had to modify anything to make it work. but i might be wrong, i like turbos too much, so i wont be doing this on my car.
  19. i am planning on getting my block ringed. everyone ive talked to that builds engines said that will solve a lot of head gasket issues.
  20. eat lunch? whats that? hell i dont even get breaks at work
  21. hmmm, maybe some one can get a scan? thanks for the heads up though.
