  1. I have one identical to the white one, '92, white, 4eat slips in 3rd and 4th!If you part the red one, I need the power antenna and a couple other non-swap items, especially interior stuff, maybe all of it. I do have some RX stuff to trade if you need parts for that.
  2. Cool Garner, I'll need a volunteer! Really though I just like talking about my RX and really wanted you guys to see the info on the rally, I figured it would get moved otherwise. I picked up a '93 turbo legacy and I'm looking for a Imp body now, that will be my stage car, I' m getting tired of adapting things to the RX, it is competetive in rally cross though. All the same, I don't want to spend for the cage for the RX, I'd rather put it in the Imp. I do appreciate the imput, I'm nostalgic enough to use the RX if money was not an obstacle. The race at PIR should be cool, it is really fun to go watch in the woods but you just see a very short glimpse of the race. At PIR you should be able to see much of the stage (I'm hoping) like the european rally cross or a WRC special stage. I think this format is new to ORG and I haven't seen one so it's new for me. But I'm definately going to check it out. I'll be at the Park Expose around 3:00.
  3. I want to get a feel for the possibilty of building my RX into a stage car, I'm a bit worried about power, aftermarket parts and reliabilty, looking for thoughts and ideas. I'm going to the Oregon Trail RAlly to see just how fast the competition is.   4. Yep, the real west...we can carry people in the back of our Brats (Brumbys) and we can carry guns to keep them safe!
  5. I was curious about the difference in ratios and just happened to have both racks out and side by side The Gl rack is 3.75 turns, 3.25 for the XT-6. The GL rack is more turns but also moves farther overall. I didn't check to see if the steering arm/knuckle attached to the bearing carrier is the same length. I carefully measured the actual distance traveled with the same number of turns. GL rack=3 turns moved the tie rod end 4.875 inches XT-6 rack=3 turns moved the tie rod 5.5 inches 11.37% difference
  6. That helps, trying to learn all I can. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is the part about the intercooler making the BPV more important. I'm probably missing something but I would think the air would compress quicker in a smaller area. Thanks for the explaination.
  7. I'm thinking about auto-x in my RX, sounds like a blast, the Rally crosses are just not often enough. What rack are you going to use? I just got the Super pro bushings, everything looks right except the lower sway mount.
  8. So when I see an add for a turbo leg that states "true 50/50 torque split" it isn't something unique to the turbo trans? Just bull?
  9. Gravel, what springs did you use on the rear? Any idea what the spring rate is? Any idea the spring rate on the accord front springs? I'm running 18/20 and mine handles pretty good. I'm adding poly bushings (they arrived a couple days ago, thanks Ed) and a set of GR-2's
  10. I personally don't like stickers, especially the girly, groupy type promoting a commercial entity like a band, but hey I think it fits your car fine.
  11. You had a '88 RX with 2 transmissions? That is a pretty rare car, you should post some pictures.
  12. want to know the difference in the trans, I didn't know about the clutch. Mainly I was wondering about the center diff, are they the same?
  13. What is the difference: Turbo Legacy AWD 5mt N/A Legacy AWD 5mt Also will EJ22 N/A timing covers fit the Turbo 2.2? Thanks!

  15. Is there a place I can reference all the designations you are using? The GC, GD, etc? I need to get up to speed on this stuff. Anyway sounds like any of the '02+ is what I need.
  16. Another rookie question: I went searching for used camber plates and there are many different ones. 93/01 Imp; 2002 wrx; 2004 wrx; STi. Will any of these fit my RX with GR2's? Or should i say which of these is the best match? (if any) Thanks!

  18. Could I compare the struts by compressing them on a bathroom scale? Maybe another way? I have the GR2's now but I don't want to put them on unless they are stiffer. Is one camber plate better than another, any leads on experienced ones?
  19. MRT make a street camber plate for the WRX, this will fit my RX? (I think you said it will) Can you get a read on the 2wd struts, can you detect a big diff in dampening? If I take of my working RX struts with 165K miles and put on GR2's am I shooting myself in the foot? 2X=100% increase. Thanks
