  2. More progress...and more pics...detailed ones with the flash on! The engine more complete now...just need to work out how to route the PCV hoses. http://www.pixiad.com/pix/WJM/DSCF2145.JPG http://www.pixiad.com/pix/WJM/DSCF2146.JPG Goodies on the floor... http://www.pixiad.com/pix/WJM/DSCF2148.JPG http://www.pixiad.com/pix/WJM/DSCF2149.JPG http://www.pixiad.com/pix/WJM/DSCF2150.JPG

  5. And the garage full of rare subaru goodies...who can see them?
  6. More progress.
  7. EXACTLY! That's just what the term to me is.
  8. ricers are those punks who have form and fit before all else. THey have those wings and body kits, and all that other BS...Me, I am FUNCTION. I dont care about form or fit. I make stuff to fuction, i dont care how ugly it looks. Those who are REAL TUNERS, are not ricers. $190 on plug wires? No way. I'll stick to my $30 Accell.
  9. RX Owners...info, NOW!
  10. Really...................
  11. Hey, that really works!!
  12. Thats pretty awesome! I should ready up the GL-10 for something like that...
  13. That is for the spyder intake plenum...those are only on the EA82s....the one you need to use is the second one i posted.
  14. I had a 4wd 5spd XT turbo with air once....it was an 86.
  15. Might NOT use a flush. Id just change the oil. But if you want to use one, use one of those 5 min flushes that you pour in, and let idle for 5 mins, and then change the oil.
  16. Eh.......you cant. thats the problem. My GL-10 doesnt have an oil pressure guage, i hate it. I will be installing the hardware for it before the engine goes in. I would change the oil, and see how it does after that. I am thinking there is some trash in the system or something...
  17. JF2=4wd A=Loalye and XT line C=4 door 85-89 7=1800CC 4WD W/Air suspension 5=Turbo 86; GL-10 turbo 87-89; GL F4WD 2D 87 (??? If this numner was a 6, and the one before was 5, it would be an RX...as long as this next letter stayed a 'B') B=3001-4000 lbs GVWR w/passive restraints 1=check digit F=1985 vehicle model year E=5 spd 4x2 trans./4wd (85-89) 217147=4 door sedan So, NO, its nt an RX...but it might as well be for the year it was, the RXs were just about the same thing. Anyhow, its a GL-10. Does it have cruise control?
  18. you mean this vs this vs this? Here is the spyder intake gasket, it goes between the upper plenum peice, and the lower half that actually bolts to the head and houses the fuel injectors. Here is the SPFI and carbed intake gasket. Here is what the MPFI and turbo would look like on an EA82. Does that help?
  19. what was the oil pressure doing while all this was happening?
  20. you could use the ultra copper. Let it set up until it seems bry to the touch, then bolt it on. whats the asv on an eaxx??
  21. For more low end power, and a little less high end if you always run pump gas....installa SPFI shortblock under all the factory turbo stuff. Goobs more low ends, from 1200-3500. Use stock cams. Open up the intake and exhaust, that will boost low end as well for this setup. Under a stock setup, the mid range will be way better, but low will be the same, and hign end will really suffer.
  22. so whats the exact location of this place???
  23. with cams and spyder, and decent exhaust...id say 120 is easy. So what is going to happen to the turbo stuff? Me want!
  24. Yeah, you'd know Fox.
