  3. hey Charles...........whatcha sellin? welcome aboard
  4. just use regular old dino oil. you dont need any special crap, and 100k is not high mileage for your engine.
  5. the only thing cooling wise that an 'interfooler'' does is look cooler. zero impact on performance not related to parking lot posturing
  6. thank you Tom for posting this. usmb w the worlds smartest dumbphone does not include starting threads nor does it allow me to post pics very easily (i know how, my phone makes me homicidal). i have another block, but it has a bunch of calsified looking deposits (tap water?). i already cleaned this block up but apperently between tear down at the old place and here, well you saw it. advice????? thank you Ben, and thanx for the gaskets/seals
  7. if you run a motor with zero coolant the gauge will read zero. the temp sensor needs coolant to be in contact with it to get a reading. also, you said the leak was a heater hose so perhaps the combination of highway speeds, not running coolant thru the heater, and lowish coolant level yielded your gauge reading. keep an eye on your hgs
  8. friends dont let friends "race" crv's. wth was that guy thinking??? shoulda rented a fiat:Flame:
  9. ooo yeah! nothin like stuff that isnt a pile of rust yet eh?
  10. at LEAST $20. jk, im in at about 100-150. my main reason for wanting this, other than rarity, over a clutch lsd is im hoping itll be cheaper. i realize i could be off on price but i dont know what it costs to produce so............ya 100-150. flame on folks
  11. what kind of soob!? im assuming ea82, i bought my sealed bearings on amazon of all places, 7 a piece free shipping. they are chiners tho

  14. ive got a set for ya $20 shipped. i love oregon, my ma lives near siletz
  15. you will need the xmember from a turbo car, and route turbo plumbing/brake parts in such a way so as not to interfere with the BB/MC. plus the whole wiring harness song and dance. has it been done? not sure, check nabisco
  16. news to me, thanx GD
  17. my spfi does it. matter of fact ive seen outbacks and legos do it too. it just depends on how fast you take that long right hand sweeper and how long it is. nature of the horizontal beast
  18. happens to all of us. slow down on the sweeping rh turns, youre sloshing the oil over to the left and thru the pcv. as for the TOD you probably starved the oil pump slightly for a moment due to the centrifugal force, resulting in low oil pressure.
  19. not that this is terribly helpful to your post but you will not be anywhere near 160 hp with a ea82t. search around. then set that motor on fire. secondly, lifting a car doesnt change how the trans works. as for open/closed diff q's i hear youtube can clear you up with helpful as to which trans is best for asphalt. 4wd=no center diff=offroad. awd, center diff, if difflock is engaged it acts like 4wd. lifted guys use dr 5mts because of the lo range. and welcome aboard.
  20. where in Wa are you? im near tacoma and can look @ your car. i feel like two brains could hash this out. pm me if ya wanna get together
  21. i doubt ill make it off the coast this year, but hit me up and ill ship em to ya
