  1. Baja 100w are 6" and less than $10 each. Harbor Freight has some that usually sell for $7.99/pair and are 100w. http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo21/PIC46 These are the lights... Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer--630w shining forward! 01 Forester--factory light shining forward! :-\
  2. I understand the axles to be the same... The drive lines will change depending on if it is a 4 or 5 speed tranny. 4 Speed will be one piece 5 Speed will be two... The hatch and wagon are different length vehicles so some shortening/lenghtening may be in order. Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer--shortened driveline. (-"15) 01 Forester--factory driveline
  3. That just plain Cool! Do it! Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  4. You just need to match up the FCC codes and the remotes will work. Don't pay more than a few bucks for a case. You could get the whole thing looking new for less than $10/. Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  5. I believe the problem is the diff gear ratios. I think your looking at a 3.7 on the auto and a 3.9 on the manuel. You could swap the gears out of another diff to match the tranny you decide to go with? Good Luck, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  6. Anything is possible! And Subarus are easy! As far as the motor goes, I'd make sure you have the computer and black boxes out of the Hatch. You'd need to match the Fuel Pump control unit to the carb so you'd have to transfer that from the donor car. Do a Search on the motor swap? Good luck Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester

    tubing thickness

I can't remember what thickness tubing I used, I'll have to go check tonight. But in the areas where I might be coming in contact with rocks... I used D.O.M! Good Luck, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  8. The N20 guy claims it's underpowered until he hits the button
  9. My 82 has done that since time began I have never been able to figure it out Good Luck, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  10. That's the funnyiest story I've heard in years I feel bad for the guy in a way but on the other hand he was handcuffed for a reason. :-p
  11. I just put the Bosch platnums in the Buggy over the weekend Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  12. I just put frams on my trooper and camry I just put a pennzoil filter on the SubaruHummer yesterday Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  13. What did they charge you for the Pugs? Curious Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  14. We want pics of the transformation Welcome and good luck, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  15. I'll be in Moab on May 6 - 8. May also be there Mid March a couple weeks before the Jeep Safari. Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  16. Given what happened it seems as though that's the best possible outcome. Your ok, the car has usable parts... It could have been a lot worse Good Luck, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester Maybe the car is now ready to become a modified off-roader?
  17. Looks like classic Moab / I-70 / San Rafael terrain. If I'm not mistaken that's clay and gooey when wet???? I've had problems moving on level ground in that Crap! I took the Forester through some of that crap last spring in the San Rafael Swell and it's still stuck on the bottom of my car Looks like a ton of fun! ...Gotts to wonder how "Summer" (my SubaruHummer) would handle the terrain I need to get down that way sometime... Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  18. Try Ebay, I've found a bunch of stuff like that there. Good luck, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester, Ebay, security system, remotes, wood dash...
  19. I got 21 mpg with my 01 Forester on a 300 mile freeway trip once. Best I've seen is 24 mpg. In Utah with the tempature change, cars need to warm up a bit. My winter mileage is always less than summer. Sounds to me your in the ball park with the mileage, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  20. Hey welcome to the board The newer Subies can be lifted just like the older ones are. Mudrat is a great source for that kind of stuff. I think the reason more people don't lift the newer stuff is the lack of the dual range transmission Because of the gearing, your limited on your off-roading adventures. Again that too can be gotten around ...Mudrat... I added fender flares to my Forester to give the illusion of a lift but until I can get it geared down I won't take it on the ugly stuff. My .02 Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  21. Looks great, however I think your leaving your self wide open for some "Photo Shop Fun" with your car posed like that Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  22. That's cute... Can't you get those for the kids at PepBoys or Checker? If I could get one I would, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
  23. What did it cost to make the change? I'd consider it, if it was not too expensive I'm tired of not getting the vehicle to refire untill its back level ground. Does anyone remember what it cost them when they did it? Thanks, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer--carter weber 01 Forester--injected
  24. I had my rims made 3 3/4" center bore. http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo21/PIC4
  25. Drive first (and fast) measure thickness later ...said the guy with the winch in back...
